CHI Original Digital 1" Ceramic Hairstyling Iron

I have used my old Remington flat iron for 2 years and it died on me. I used my friends CHI on vacation and was impressed by the quality, hers is 5-6 years old. CHI was recommended me to by several friends because of the quality and long lasting use. I love that this flat iron is dual voltage for travel. I ordered the CHI original and CHI G2 To compare, the only difference I noticed is the G2 has an 11 ft cord and the original has a 6.. I prefer the shorter cord. Also the G2 has color coded settings which I don’t believe is necessary- it’s just a selling point. Both flat irons heat up fast and work great however I chose to keep the original because it is a ceramic plate which is less damaging to hair over time. The G2 has titanium infused plates which can be drying and damaging to hair. My one complaint would be that I wish it had a lock feature for storage. I did reorder this on target because it was $50 cheaper… Overall I am happy with the CHI and looking forward to getting a lot of use out of it!

Most of the time I give up the fight and let my hair stay in it's naturally curly/wavy nature, and other times I want it smooth up in a ponytail, or clipped back from my eyes. Those days I want it more smooth and sleek this comes to my aid. I usually use some form of heat protection spray before I straighten with this. It is easy to use and I really like that it has adjustable temperatures and an auto shut off. It's compact enough and I can just wrap the cord around the body to store it in a drawer (after it's cooled down).

Best hair straightener I have ever owned . I had another brand and did not like it at all as the hair was getting struck in it. Being a beginner using flat iron on my long hair I hated it until I used this Chi flat iron. Hair does not get struck and it just glides like butter on my fine wavy hair . With one pass my hair is silky straight . Highly recommend comparing the price point and also for the quality . It’s so handy and way easier to handle too .

Chi is a classic hair straightener. It heats up quickly, straightens very well and does not leave my hair feeling dry or damaged. It's lightweight and easy to handle. I like that you can control the heat.

Very good price, works best. I got this one for my mom since she really loved the one my husband got for me from chi. Perfect for curls look. Best quality.

Works well. Heats up quickly. I made a mistake getting a different flat iron after my original Chi broke after 10+ years of reliable use. And that lasted maybe a year. I’ll never leave Chi again.

I love this straightener. I love that I can control the temperature, which you can’t on other styles. It doesn’t catch my hair and gets plenty hot very fast. It’s easy to use for multiple styles (curl, wave, straight). Looks sleek and my toddlers haven’t broken it. This is a great straightener for the price. I have used professional and store bought and this one works just as good as the super expensive ones. This is a one inch which makes it versatile in what you can do with it.

Love this Chi straightener! I straighten my hair every day and I’ve always had great experiences using Chi for the past 15+ years. I loved my last one so much (worked for everyday use for about 7 years), I bought it again! Heats up so quickly & makes my hair feel so soft. Well worth the price!
