Quality craftmanship, the neck was a snug fit and alignment was spot on. All the predrilled holes were in the right location. Assembly was nice and smooth, although it could have more detailed instructions. (I could never get to the link they supplied for building instructions.) It has a nice sound to it too. Mind you it doesn't sound quite like the Les Paul, but the whole guitar kit cost less than one of the Les Paul's pickups. So I am very happy with this guitar, and I am considering buying another one to stain a cherry red.

I’ve put together a few kits now. This one has become my new favorite guitar to play, and it looks awesome. Partial credit to me for making it look awesome but I can’t get over the quality of the parts in this kit. Super lightweight and sounds incredible plugged in or not. Highly recommend this one. Wiring was plug in so no soldering needed. Props to these guys this is a fantastic kit.

Am pleasantly surprised with how well this sounds. The wood isn't the prettiest so you'll want to paint instead of staining it. The strings are horrible but you can get good strings for 5 bucks. Everything snaps together and fits perfectly. Paint it, put it together then you can watch videos on YouTube on how to set it up and make adjustments. I cut off the wires and saudered some thicker ones in but that's not necessary. I've owned a fender squiar that cost twice as much but didn't sound as good as this one.

Great sound easy to assemble just a good quality beginner guitar for any one . Can't wait to get another one .

Honestly, the old adage, "you get what you pay for", applies here. But what this kit will give you is the experience of putting a guitar together. Which I find enjoyable. You won't walk away with a great guitar at this price. If you're considering this item keep this in mind when purchasing: The body parts are not really matched that well. Meaning that parts of the body, the front, will have multiple grain patterns. Staining is not advised. You'll want to spray paint it and finish to your liking. The neck isn't half bad at all 24 fret and it accepted stain much better than the body. Electronics and hardware are OK. Definitely not stellar but does the job. There are some instructions provided with the guitar but if you've never wired pickups before you'll prolly want more but don't worry. Go to emg or Seymore Duncan's site to get more detailed visuals for wiring. Look for a 2 humbuckers with master vol and master tone schematic. You'll get the gist from there. For me this kit was for the experience of staining and finishing. While I didn't get the results I was looking for. I kinda realized almost immediately that staining this would be sketchy. But I did it anyway and would do it again. Go into this project with the mindset of gaining experience and you won't be disappointed. Welcome to the world of luthier -ing

Everything fits and works like it should. This flame body guitar is worth a lot more. Pickups are smooth sounding not sharp. I will not replace them. I want to buy another model G-666 guitar even though I prefer a short scale neck. Cannot comment on the whammy action as I keep my bridge screwed down. I love this light weight guitar. Update 10-25 Replaced the pickups with Fleor Alnico 2 from Amazon. Finished with matte clear because mine was raw wood and I liked it. I play this guitar as much as my Epiphones, sounds as good and weighs less.

the switch tip wasn't included but, this kit was an easy build , looks and plays great, neck and frets are dead on. I'll be buying more of their kits very soon. Was expecting tons of problems......NONE....Just a great kit !!!!!

If you're looking for a professional kit, this is not it. But it is a great little kit that my daughter had a blast building. She plays it regularly and she loves it. So for a fun project for a guitar player, this is great!
