Fit like the regular MOAB 2 hiking boots I wear. The black leather looks good, not crazy shiny, profesional looking.

I'm giving my purchase 5 stars, as Merrell is a great company to work with. I've moved to Merrell a few years back for all footwear for work and non-work. Their hiking shoes just work great, and their boots have held up quite well.Now, this specific pair I'm reviewing did have a hasp break when tying the shoes, but I already had them 6+ months, and I put them to much use (this has never happened with any other Merrell footwear before). I used the Merrell claim site, and was given a coupon for a free replacement. Who does THAT anymore?? I've seen Merrell hold up better than most anything else in first responder world, as they are hard on their footwear. My replacement shoes were easily ordered from the Merrell website, and are on the way. This type of customer service is most appreciated, and Merrell deserves some kudos for that.

Size and composition wasn’t as expected

I wear these boots 12–13 hours a day, and they are hands down the best choice I’ve made. The comfort and support are outstanding—no foot pain, no fatigue, and they stay comfortable all day long. They’re durable, waterproof, and the traction is reliable on all surfaces. Perfect for work, hiking, or any long shift. Worth every penny.

These Boots Are great. I've had multiple pairs of Merrill shoes and wanted something more like a boot. I read several reviews talking about the eyelets popping out and had a co-worker who told me the same thing, but mine hold strong. I don't tie my boots super tight so it's not an issue for me. I just pull all the slack from the eyelets without grabbing the ends of the laces and jerking hard. No problem. Good warmth, decent ankle support, (they are a low cut boot) and best of all great light weight. I'll buy another pair when I wear these out!

Been wearing these for three months now. These are warm and more comfortable than their military type black boots. Only complaint I have is the laces could be better (they loosen up too often). They should use the same lace material as on a normal pair of Moabs!

Best boot for my husband. Hes in law enforcement and needed a shorter boot. This is super comfortable and its perfectly!

Bought for my son at Christmas. He has been wearing Merrills for years and was excited about this slightly dressier looking version of his favorite boot. They don’t fit like other Merrills, and he found them uncomfortable. The quality isn’t really up to Merrill standard either.

I work as a paramedic. These boots are super comfortable. I buy these boots whenever they are on sale.

Purchased for grandson who does a LOT of walking in all weather......he had bought himself a pair 3 years ago and loved them so much that we didn't hesitate to buy another pair when they started to show wear.

Merrell is my shoe to go to every time, since they are cmfortable, but every time there is some manufacturing issue.The heel tab ripped before I even got the chance to try the shoe on.
