Great for sailing
Light weight, a tiny bit see through. Waist is a little low. Length is good. I'm 5'11" and around 200 lbs

These are very well made! As someone else said, they run a little bit small and have an odd fit- short in the crotch. Worth the price.

The sizing is incorrect
My size is a small/petite for all of my clothes. The HH LIFA Baselayer pant was so small and short that it could have fit a child. I was not able to fit my foot, shoe size 8.5 into the bottom of the pants.

Runs a bit small, not much stretch.
I'm torn on whether they run small or whether it's because there is no give to the fabric or if it's a little of both. Not the best base layer for me because of the fit, but I do love the color!

Check the inseam for holes.
I already have a pair of these W Helly Hansen LIFA pants in the large, and never had any issue with them. I like them so much I decided to get a 2nd pair. After they arrived, I tried them on and they fit just the same. I took off the tags and as I was taking off the pants I noticed a hole in the inseam. I figure it's less hassle to stitch the hole closed than deal with the returns, but still very annoying. 😒

If you're considering these for your outdoor wardrobe, you may want to try them on for size first or opt for a larger size than you normally would. For those prioritizing comfort and flexibility in their activewear, it might be worth exploring other options. Given these issues, I've decided to return the Helly Hansen Women's HH LIFA Baselayer Pant. While I had high hopes based on the brand's reputation and the product's visual appeal, the fit and comfort did not meet my expectations for outdoor gear. Try it before you purchase it.
