Klein 11061 Stripper/Cutter Self-Adjusting Wire, Blue

I’d purchased several cheap wire strippers but they soon failed so I took the chance and bought the Klein stripper. Wow..! What a difference, so good, consistent so I’ve no hesitation recommending this to others

Wow. What a difference such a simple tool makes to stripping wires. I went for this one because Klein are a well known brand and I liked the fact that the self-adjuster was not made of cheap plastic when compared to other makes. You get what you pay for. This tool made light work of the job I was doing. Definitely value for money and they were a pleasure to use, with total control over how much sheath to strip. Can't wait to use them again.

Like everybody I have been stripping wires by hand for ages, using a sharp stanley style knife and some pliers, but when faced with this adapter to strip and re-solder I decided enough was enough and so made the jump to invest in some professional wire strippers - and boy am I glad I did! These are quite frankly game changing in how quickly and accurately they can strip wires - I didn't even have to make any adjustments straight out of the box as they auto adjust and worked straight away with all the different wire sizes used in the photographs I'm not sure about the cheaper ones, they might be just as good, but I did a bit of research on the Internet before buying these and the choice of professionals seems to be "blue handled Kleins" If you are thinking of buying these, I would say do :)

Great for a gas engineer wiring up boilers, strips twin & earth, 3 core & 5 core flex cable easily without damaging the inner strands Would be 5 star if the opening was a little bigger as I have to wiggle the 5 core in as its a tight fit

A great pair of wire strippers, solid build quality, grips & strips wires really well, the metal stop that allows you to strip wires at the same length is annoying as it keeps coming loose but I just removed it & then they are perfect, highly recommend.

...after a lifetime of hacking with scissors and peeling of the outer skin of cables with finger nails and teeth, I finally, at the age of 52, decided to buy a pair of wire strippers. I was skeptical about the "self-adjusting" nature of these - how could they know how thick the wire is? - but they work like a dream. Honestly, the satisfying noise it makes/tension in your hands as it goes about its business is a joy to behold. Right, I'm off to strip some more wires.

Dentre as dezenas de marcas e modelos de decapadores de fios existentes no mercado, para mim um dos melhores é o da Klein Tools. Isso porque ao contrário da concorrência, o modelo 11061 conquista o consumidor mais exigente nos pequenos detalhes, como sua base de suporte de maior espessura, limitador do comprimento de corte feito de metal (e não de plástico), cortador de fio com lâmina de corte de verdade (e não estampada no cabo). Fora isso ele possui uma curiosa abertura na área de decapagem por onde os resíduos dos fios caem mais facilmente. Outro detalhe interessante é que essa ferramenta é um ODM fabricado em Taiwan e não na China. Mas tudo isso tem o seu preço e o 11061 não é exceção sendo ele um dos decapadores mais caros do site, chegando a custar de 5 a 6 vezes a mais do que um equivalente genérico feito na China. E como isso é possível cara pálida? Parafraseando o bom e velho crítico de arte John Ruskin que já no século XIX disse: "Quase não existe nada no mundo que alguém não possa piorar um pouco e vender um pouco mais barato, e as pessoas que só consideram o preço são presas fáceis para esses tipos." Simples assim.

I should have bought these decades ago rather than persisting with ancient manual strippers and knives, ending up with far too many nicked cables. These are a joy to use; wires thick or thin, stripped to perfection with no adjustments needed. Spend the money with confidence.
