I’ve really enjoyed using this jerky gun and have been impressed with how well it performs. The 2.5-pound capacity is one of my favorite features because it holds a good amount of meat at once. It means I’m not constantly having to stop, reload the barrel, and start over, especially when I’m making a larger batch of jerky. The size feels like a really good balance between having enough capacity to get a decent amount of work done while still being manageable to handle. The durability has also been excellent. The stainless steel construction gives it a much more solid feel than some of the cheaper plastic jerky guns I’ve seen. It feels like something that is going to hold up to repeated use rather than something I’ll have to replace after making a few batches. The different nozzles and accessories also feel well made, and having everything included in one kit is a big plus. I also really like the stability while using it. Once you get the meat loaded and have the nozzle positioned where you want it, it stays pretty steady while you're squeezing the handle and extruding the meat. That makes it much easier to get consistent strips or sticks instead of having them come out all over the place. The included stomper is also useful for packing the meat into the barrel tightly and getting the most out of each load. One of the biggest things I look for with a jerky gun is consistency, and this one does a really good job. As long as the meat is mixed and prepared properly, it produces a pretty consistent texture and thickness from one piece to the next. That makes a big difference when you're dehydrating or cooking the jerky because you want the pieces to be relatively uniform so they finish around the same time. And most importantly, the finished jerky tastes great. Being able to make it at home means I can control the seasoning and use whatever type of meat and flavor profile I want. The consistent strips also help give the finished jerky a good texture, and I've been very happy with the results. Homemade jerky made with this gun has quickly become one of my favorite things to make. As far as value for the money goes, I think this kit is a great deal. You're getting a larger 2.5-pound capacity along with multiple stainless steel nozzles, cleaning brushes, and the stomper, so you aren't having to purchase a bunch of accessories separately. For someone who makes jerky regularly, having a durable gun that can handle larger batches makes the purchase worthwhile. I also appreciate that it isn't limited to just one type of jerky. The different attachments give you the ability to make different shapes and even use it for things like meatballs and sausage, which adds quite a bit of versatility to the kit. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this jerky gun. The size is great for making larger batches, the stainless steel construction feels durable, it stays stable while you're using it, and it produces consistently shaped jerky. The finished product tastes great, and the amount of accessories included makes it feel like you're getting a lot for your money. If you enjoy making homemade jerky, I think this is a really useful tool to have.

Really like the ease of use of this gun. I use it for stuffing fresh sausage. I haven’t measured the capacity exactly but I cannot get two 1-lb ground beef or pork packages into it. I can overlook this though, because the ease of cleaning and being able to put it in the dishwasher makes up for it. There’s no aluminum that I can find, which seems like the go-to metal for most of these guns out there. However, there is a small piece of what appears to be mild steel in the ratchet mechanics. This oxidizes if put in the dishwasher. I dry it immediately and oil it after taking it out of the dishwasher and this takes care of it for the most part. I would like to see this part replaced with stainless, then it’d be perfect. Still, it’s the best I have found for the occasional sausage stuffing.

I would have loved to give this product on five stars but the instructions and description states that it has a metal handle and the squeeze handle is plastic. The large capacity in the ease of using a gun is very enjoyable. The two dual ports have a tendency not to dispense equally but it's still a great gun. If the handle is too hard for you to squeeze add a little water to the mixture to make it more pliable and easier to dispense.

I got this for a 10 year old who wanted to start making deer jerkey. So far so good! It was easy to use, even setup, and and clean. The build quality seems good and it's a good value.

A lot bigger than I expected. Works great and very easy to clean!!

Fairly easy cleaning, good control and well made. The only issue was I had to adjust the metal oval adapters and make it more oval. The sides were to narrow and made the jerky to crispy on the sides.

Works like a charm. I especially like that it is stainless steel. I also like all the other accessories that came with the kit. Clean up was so fast and easy.
