The good reviews are no BS.
This 24-port 2.5G switch really is an exceptional value—it's not "cheap," it's just more reasonably priced compared to other high-density options. I'll admit, I was a bit worried about buying from some "no-name" brand at such a competitive price. But after I merged two 8-port 2.5G switches and a 16-port 1G switch into this unit, I've been super happy with it. It's totally streamlined my setup and cleared out a lot fo my homelab's rat's nest. Plus, it handles the heat of Phoenix summers in my warm office without any trouble—and all that without a fan. Seriously, that’s pretty impressive. My setup includes an Asustor NAS with two 2.5G ports and a bunch of miniPCs, each rocking at least one 2.5G port. This switch takes everything I throw at it, keeps the speed up and hasn’t maxed out the bandwidth once, at least as far as I can tell, even when I really push it. So, to wrap this up, this switch is solid, performs like a champ, and the price is on point. It works great with the Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a cables I already had, supporting a wide array of devices (I even have a laptop 100+ ft from the switch, 2.5gig connectivity - no problem). I'm totally impressed with how it has sorted out all my networking issues. I am thrilled with this purchase.

A quality switch at a bargain price.
I wasnt sure with this being a no-name brand item, but it has performed nearly flawless. I'm using this as my main switch between firewalla and the rest of my network. With the exception of one power outage that caused it to reset so I had to go back into the gui and configure vlans again it has bot had any issues. There is a slight learning curve to how the gui is setup, but I had that with the other name brand smart switches I have, they are all just a bit different in their configuration.

solid switch
Works very well. Silent and doesn’t get warm, even under load. The SFP+ port is great for both uplinks and downlinks, and supports 10 gig ethernet or fiber adapters.

So far so good, works well.
So far so good. As others said, this switch requires you to explicitly save your settings or you will lose them after next reboot. You can find a PDF manual from other brand but the product is exactly the same: Goodtop Tech The switch construction feels the sames as all the other inexpensive POE switches: A metal case, a power supply inside the case, a switching board. In my experience power supplies fail after couple years. If you are a DIY person you can replace with any other 50v power supply.

Excellent POE Switch for the Price
Great heavy duty switch, easy to setup. Replaced an old 100MB POE switch that the fan started making noise on. This one is silent and adds Gigabit speeds. Super happy!

Works well - excellent customer service
The switch works well for POE access points and wired devices, providing full speed for me internet connection. The one issue I had is that the SFP ports would not activate unless I put the switch in Extend mode, but then the switch is limited to 10 mbps throughput. I can still use it with ethernet cables only, but it's disappointing that the SFP ports are not usable at high speed. Update: The company's tech support reached out very quickly in an effort to resolve the issue and were very responsive - something I don't expect from most companies these days. I'm very impressed and would still recommend their products based on that alone. At their recommendation I will check to see if my SFP modules are incompatible for some reason or if the switch has some issue. I'm raising my rating to 5 stars based on their rapid responsiveness and willingness to assist in the diagnosis of this issue. Kudos!

excellent - stays reasonably cool - provides full bandwidth throughput - may purchase more
review of - Real HD 8 Port 2.5G Ethernet Internet Switch Unmanaged 8 x 2.5 Gigabit Ports | 1 x 10G SFP+ | Works with 10-100-1000Mbps Devices | 60G Bandwidth | Plug & Play | Fanless Quiet Metal Switch - headline: excellent - stays reasonably cool - provides full bandwidth throughput - may purchase more - installation: easy, just plug in ethernet cables from multiple computers - temperature: the switch seems to stay reasonable cool. The previous 2.5G switch I purchased heated up and throttled. - conclusion: This switch is good enough and economical enough that I may purchase several of them and cascade them.

Build quality is excellent, but the price for the feature set makes this a no-brainer.
I bought this for $300 after reading the more obviously tech-savvy reviews. I replaced a Cisco SG100-16 as part of a long-term upgrade to the house and my home lab; this thing is in my top 5 for amazing value-for-money tech items. You can use it as a dumb switch right out of the box and save the active feature set for later, or play around until you screw up and then just reset the whole thing to try again. I cannot say enough good things bout this switch for anyone needing (or, tbh, wanting) a well-featured managed switch. Build quality is good, the entire thing is very sturdy, and the footprint lets it fit just about anywhere. The 2.5gb port speed is gravy, and I'm not sure I'll ever have call to use the 10gb ports, but the geek in me loves having the option.
