18V Sub-Compact MultiVolt Cordless Impact Driver Kit

I've been using Hitachi power tools for many years and have not only been satisfied, but surprised at the performance and durability of their tools. So when it was time to update, I looked up more Hitachi, and was surprised that there was a new name Metabo. I was very concerned about the new company name. After a little research I discovered it was still Hitachi, and purchased the drill. Surprise, it's an improved version of the one being replaced, only more powerful. Great product, I am a Metabo fan now.

I really like this impact driver especially for the price I paid for it I had been wanting another one to leave at work so when I saw this on sale it was a no brainer. I’ve been using it about a week now and can say it holds up very well against other brands if you want my video you can see the dewalt beat it in most of the tests I did but honestly who cares about that this thing is compact very light and has more power than most would ever need. Only complaint I have about it is that it does not have a one handed eject or quick eject which should really be a given on impacts now a days.. atleast in my opinion. The light was also something I was worried about to since it is on the base of the tool and not near the bit holder but it honestly works very well. 10/10 would recommend especially if you just need another for work or to just have 2.

I was nervous when I picked it up for the first time thinking that it wouldn't have much power. I used it to install a shelf using pocket holes, and it is soooo lightweight and easy to hold and just as powerful as my heavy corded drill. My thumb has really been hurting b/c of all the heavy tools so I wanted to find something easy on the hands. When I saw this was only 2.9lbs, I decided it was worth giving it a try! I didn't use it long so can't speak to the battery life, but it comes with TWO so I'm sure that will suffice for any job! I've only used it for one project so far, so I'll update the review with any changes if needed!

I bought this to pair up with my Hitachi cordless drill after doing some reading to ensure that the batteries for the two tools would be compatible. This comes with a pair of 2Ah batteries, and I had two 3Ah batteries for my drill, so I've been able to also add the trim router bare tool and I'm in good shape for batteries. I'm still sorta getting used to the difference between using a driver (after using a drill to drive screws for 40-ish years), but overall I like this tool a lot. It's compact and has plenty powerful for driving pocket screws into hardwoods, which is about the toughest duty I've subjected it to thus far. I wish the trigger was a bit less sensitive (to make it easier to run slowly), but I'm getting used to that as well. Very satisfied.

Well made, powerful and a pleasure to use. Even sweeter, it was purchased during a factory sale so the price was great. Nice to have a brushless design.

Metabo tiene equipos muy bien calibrados y potentes

I had an old Black and Decker that I've had for probably 20 years. It's very serviceable and still works, but it's large (hard to get in small places) and it's heavy. My carpenter recommended this particular drill and noted that this one also has greater torque so it's easier to get, say, a long screw into a tree. So far it's been fantastic.
