Using for our foster supplies. Great w/out toxic odor. Buy spray nozzle for easy application.
We foster kittens and use this to clean their space and reusable items between litters. It's easy to use, has no odor and is also recommended by our shelter. I never re-use play toys or cardboard scratching pads and always send them with the kitten to their new home. This means my next kitten(s) get brand new toys of their own, and I also feel that sending my fosters to their new forever homes with familiar toys of their own helps them adjust. I wash whatever items are washable (blankets, beds, and all food and litter items), but there are certain things that you just cannot wash (ie enclosure panels, playpen, play mats, felt tunnels, cat tree . . . ). The effectiveness on fabrics is not guaranteed so for soft or fabric items that cannot be tossed in the wash, I do a double disinfection process. I first wipe down with a disinfecting wipe (like a Clorox wipe) then I spray with Rescue and let dry. I completely discard if my fosters have been ill or soiled the items badly, but if they were healthy kittens just playing on the cat tree, I feel that doing a double disinfect with the Clorox wipe followed by the Rescue sufficiently disinfects. If you let it dry on most things, it dries without a trace, but I do find that if I let it completely dry on clear items like my enclosure panels, it does leave a visible film behind. I just spray and wait till it completely dries for optimal disinfecting, then I wipe the panels down again using a disinfecting glass cleaner like Windex Multi-Surface Disinfectant Glass Cleaner. This not only gets rid of the streaks, but provides a second disinfecting step too. Residue streaks are only visible on clear items (like our enclosure panels). On any other items/surfaces, residue isn't visible at all so it's just a matter of spraying well, then letting the Rescue dry - - no need to wipe off at all. This bottle does not come with a spray nozzle and the following nozzles are a perfect fit and spray well. Love it and trust it — I’ll keep buying it.
My vet recommended Rescue Concentrate when I asked what they use to disinfect exam rooms. Been using it ever since. Bleach water (8–10%) works too and costs less, but it’s rough on some surfaces, smells bad, and takes longer to dry. Rescue smells kind of like hydrogen peroxide, but it evaporates quickly — faster than water, though not as fast as isopropyl. I spray it everywhere: floors, cabinets, doors, rugs, even my leather couch. Tested it first on old rugs, and it didn’t stain or fade anything. I’ve got chickens and sometimes board dogs. Works great around the coop and patio (when they’re out), and it actually helps with odors. It’s not Febreze, but outdoors it kills that dog and chicken smell way better than expected. It’s my go‑to cleaner for daily use. If an animal gets sick or a new dog visits, I break out Virkon S — more heavy‑duty, but also harsher. For everything else, Rescue Concentrate is safe, simple, and solid for everyday cleaning.

Excellent product
Easy to use and doesn't have a strong odor. I love the fact that it doesn't need rinsing, and except on glass, it doesn't leave an apparent residue. I do have a complaint about the sprayer included with the bottles though; it doesn't produce a nice, even mist; instead, the liquid comes out in a mixture of mist and globs. Not enough to lower the rating, though; I just use a third-party sprayer.

Must buy if you have animals
This was recommended to me by a lady in a group on facebook. My Maltese has small accidents where he misses his pee pad. So I followed the directions on the bottle and spray a little where he has his accidents and it works! There’s no scent. The lady told me they use it at her rescue and she highly recommends it. Very effective. Great value for money since you only mix a little with water.

Excellent sanitizer
This is an excellent product for cleaning and sanitizing after your furry companions. We volunteer at a shelter, foster animals, and care for our two cats, so we rely on something effective and versatile—and this delivers on every point. It’s easy to mix and can be used for daily cleaning, spot cleaning, or full sanitization depending on the dilution ratio. It’s virucidal, bactericidal, and fungicidal, making it suitable for use on any hard, non-porous surface. For full sanitization, we use a 1:16 dilution, which is effective against viruses, bacteria, and even parvo. For everyday spot cleaning, a 1:64 dilution works great. When sanitizing (at 1:16), we let the solution dwell for 5 minutes and ensure the surface stays wet during that time then wipe dry. We use it on our carriers, litter boxes, kennels, cages, and traps. One tip: label your spray bottles with masking tape to note the dilution and expiration date—the mixed solution lasts up to 90 days. We highly recommend this!

Strong disinfectant with an even stronger chemical smell
I bought this to amp up my cleaning and sanitizing efforts since my puppy currently has Giardia. After an initial round of medication, things weren't getting better and I wasn't sure if the treatment didn't work *or* if my puppy was being reinfected by the environment. It's been almost a month battling this Giardia infection. Read a lot of recommendations for REScue products for cleaning veterinary environments *and* from pet owners who also had to deal with a pet's Giardia infection, so I ordered this Ready to Use spray *and* the wipes. I'll note that I did use this spray in conjunction with the REScue wipes and Clorox wipes, so I unfortunately can't write a review on the effectiveness of this spray alone in a vacuum, but I *can* say that my dog has been doing muuuuch better since I added the REScue products to my cleaning/sanitizing regimen so I believe they are effective and I think this spray is a solid sanitizer/disinfectant. I've used this spray to sanitize my bathroom, living room hardwood floors, and my my dog's crate (especially after accidents). Very important to note this spray is POTENT. I truly do not understand the reviews saying this product has a fresh, clean smell... This spray has an incredibly strong chemical smell that is very overpowering. I highly recommend having fans or air purifiers going or windows open when using this spray. Also probably wise to use a mask when spraying this. Every time I spray this spray I get a headache, so I use it sparingly (and always with a mask and ample airflow) and I prefer the REScue wipes over this spray for this reason. The instructions say to let the product remain visibility wet for at least 1 minute and then to let air dry. After the spray air dries on my floors, I go back over my floors with regular mop solution to try and tamp down the strong chemical smell Also I find it pretty annoying that this bottle doesn't come with a spray nozzle. I actually had to order a spray nozzle from Amazon to accompany this spray. And I couldn't find a single-spray nozzle to order so I had to get a pack of 2 spray nozzles just to use this spray bottle.... Very strange decision by the company. Overall, I think it does a good job of sanitizing/disinfecting and I will continue to use it here and there for intense sanitizing when needed. But I'm taking away a star for the lack of a spray nozzle for this spray bottle and for the intense and headache-inducing smell of this product.

Effective and safe cleaner!
Great value! This has been making a huge difference in helping with kitten cleanup, especially considering our vinyl floors aren’t the type that can handle bleach-based cleaners. The fumes can be a bit strong when the product is sprayed, so be sure to wear a mask, ventilate, and move your pet elsewhere temporarily if possible.

Worked great,
Easy to use. Yes it does not come with a spray nozzle. However I had a basic one from Lowe’s and it fit perfectly. We used this on a used, but nice, pet stroller. Not knowing the prior owners or animal, we didn’t want to take chances with any ick that may have befallen the earlier animal. What I like most about this product is you spray it on until it’s wet and let it dry. Keeping it wet for a minute kills most of the bad things.
