a wonderfull tool for miniature entusiast, it's really a change in the way you separate pizes from the sprue. Less damage, more accurate cuts and very precise cuts. I use in warhammer and warlond miniatures, and are perfect for that kind of plastic.

Title. So I actually left a 5-star review for Godhands (the expensive one), and they worked quite well, except... the blade bent a bit from dropping it (on carpet, but they still bend). I got these thinking "oh well, I can use these as first-cut if they suck" and WOAH BOY. THESE CUT BETTER THAN GODHANDS THEMSELEVES. No joke. The cuts are cleaner. I have way less cleanup I have to do with these over my slightly bent Godhands, and I'm pretty sure they cut just as well as when my Godhands were unbent. For $13, these are ABSOLUTELY absurd. They definitely have stiffer springs and have slight ergonomics issues (the metal joints are a bit pokey and I sanded it down using a diamond rod sharpener and they're perfect now) but man, the performance. I'm sure they won't last as long as the Godhands, but considering I can buy F I V E of these every time a Godhands break, I don't see why you won't just keep getting these and cycle out the sharpness. 5/5, absolutely phenomenal, I'd buy these for any friends that are remotely considering getting into the hobby. They're that good. Built several models with these and they're still chugging along.

surprisingly good nippers for the price

Excellent tool - sharp, precise and easy to use. Great for all types of model related cutting.

TLDR; They're great. At $12 it's a no-brainer. After six months of use, as my "second cut" nippers, I can say they make very clean cuts and the blades are still sharp. They're much sturdier than the $35 Tamiya clippers I got for Christmas that broke after a month of very light duty. I paid $12 and I really can't imagine the pricier nippers cutting any cleaner than these. In a hobby with a lot of overpriced, "premium" tools available, it was nice to have found a premium tool at a very reasonable price. If I had to list a con, it would be that the pleather cover for the pointy bits is really cheap, and flimsy, but it doesn't affect the nippers in any way. Definitely Recommended.

I just recently started getting into building Gundam models and these were the first tool I bought. So far they have been working absolutely great. I’m currently working on my 3rd model and they are cutting everything with ease. So if you’re just getting into models, these are a great choice. The price on these is incredible and they are so so worth it!

You get what you pay for. I guess that these would be good for someone just starting the hobby if they want something cheap, but don't expect clean cuts with these. If you have lots of other tools for nub removal then I guess these are okay. These were not what I was expecting. I'll keep them as the opening act to get the parts out with, but I'll use something that cuts better to cut the nubs away closer to the part.

Swift delivery and nice model. It's not quite as 'buttery' cut as it's branded counterpart but for the budget price it gets the job done.
