Love this glitter so much!
I LOVE this iridescent glitter glaze! In the video, I’ve painted the glaze over a Clark & Kensington paint color called Silver Glamour, which is silver grey with a hint of lavender. I used two coats of the glitter, but Rustoleum suggests 3-4 coats. If I do that, I’ll need 40 cans for my project (15x25 ft room) and that feels ridiculous and expensive. My room doesn’t get sunlight so trying to find a light to show off the amount of glitter on the walls was difficult. I used a flashlight in the video and a led stage light in the photo, that’s why the photo is that gorgeous purple. The true color of the wall is in the video. I’ve tested this iridescent glaze on Tiffany Blue turquoise paint and didn’t like it, the Tiffany blue was too gorgeous on its own. Then I tested it on my 20-year-old off-white painted wall and it looked like I spilled water on the wall and there’s a water stain. But this silver/grey/lavender paint was a perfect undercolor for the iridescent glitter. Some notes for anyone who tries it: - if you use a can over a few days or weeks (testing etc), the top of the can rusts fast, so rust particles get into the glaze. I picked them out as I rolled it on the wall. (Rust oleum - change to the plastic tops that Behr uses) - use a large roller. I’ve painted this on using a brush, small roller, and large regular roller. The large regular roller has the most even application. - it can be easily painted over! That’s the beauty of this. I’ve painted over this glitter on a wall three times with three different paints! The paint I’ve used is one-coat application paint but they fully cover the glitter...like it was never there. I’m sure if you shone light where the glitterwas, you’d likely see specks of glitter but I love that it covers so easily especially during all those tests I did.

So sparkly and easy to use!
This is a clear "paint" with iridescent glitter in it that goes on over your paint color, after the paint has dried. Not cheap but so worth it! I had originally planned to use this but had a hard time finding it so I opted for paint crystals first, but didn't get the result I was looking for. Additionally, I thought it might be a pain to have to go over the wall(s) with ANOTHER coat of paint when I could just save time by mixing the crystals right into the paint. I had also read mixed reviews on this. Apparently some people have had problems with it being too watery and dripping after it gets onto the walls. I didn't have that issue at all. It was more watery than paint but I think as long as you don't load up your roller with too much of it you'd be fine. Also, I read that some people had to use multiple coats to get the effect they were looking for. I don't know how that's possible because with just one coat, the wall I painted was SUPER sparkly! The only "issue" I had, if you'd even call it that, is since the paint is clear, it was slightly difficult to see where I had and hadn't applied it yet. Since I was painting at night and didn't have any natural light, I had to use a flashlight to catch the glitter in certain areas to make sure I hadn't missed any spots. But that wasn't really a problem so much as a tiny extra step. It is exactly the look I was going for! It was super easy to apply and looks amazing. If you are looking to do a glitter wall, spend the extra money and effort!

Think thin, cuz it's runny and a little goes a long way.
Small can but a little goes a long way. I did the trim of a 10*6 room for my nursery. I chose the clear paint, bc I wanted to paint the trim around the room a light cloudy grey, glad I did, bc it's beautiful. A single coat looks fair dust like, a double coat is like unicorn coat. The glitter speck's in my can is mostly green, yellow, pink, silver speck's. Warning: put on wall in thin layer even strokes. My 1st layer was put on to thick bc this stuff is runny like water (yes I shook the can for 3-5 mins) and once it was fully applied I recognized the error in my ways.. it started running down the trim. So I used my brush and smoothed out the drips, but later when I came back to check up on it, found more that driped, by this point it was dry. so I used my finger nail and scraped off each drip bump and gave it all a second coat. Looks better with 2 coats.

Cute but Unexpectedly Iridescent!
I purchased the Rust-Oleum Glitter Interior Wall Paint without realizing it was iridescent, and while I used it with hope for a fun finish, it turned out to be quite cute! However, I have to admit that some areas ended up looking like "boogers," as my kids jokingly pointed out. It definitely has a unique look! I’m considering trying it again, but this time with a solid color or maybe even rose gold for a more polished appearance. Overall, it’s a fun product, and I’d love to experiment more with it!

Worked for my small project
This is a very unique product. I used this for the rough, wood, back wall of my original1950s basement bar. I was looking for something fun to coordinate with the vintage copper hinges and handles on the bar cabinetry. I applied 2 coats and for me it provides adequate sparkle. What I didn't realize is that this is very translucent, so your base coat totally affects the color of the end result. I tested several paint samples. Before applying the sparkle, you really need to have 2 coats of paint for a more consistent, solid color. It was also easy the clean up tools with soap and water. Overall, I am very happy with the end result.

I think it changed the color of my base paint
In the first picture I had just repainted my bookshelf a light grey concrete color, after Appling the glitter paint I noticed the color had changed, in the second and third picture it had become a peach pink hue color. The glittler paint is on there but its hard to see yhe glitter on camera. It's not a big change of color but you can definitely see the tinge of peach pinkish hue. So that kind of made me sad. I really liked the first paint I had put on the book shelf. I'm glad I wasn't doing a wall and then put this glitter paint on it after. The whole wall would of been peach pink. The glitter looks really nice. And the more you put on the more it gets glittery. This is paint is fine if ur doing like a little kids room and u don't really care about the color scheme to much, but if ur trying to match furniture and you color has to be exact to what you want in the end product, I wouldn't choose this paint to go over it. It would ruin your end product unless you're going for a peach hue paint finish. It's cute and pretty but now it doesn't match my room exactly how I wanted my bookshelf to match with the other furniture. Oh wells. You live and you learn. Glad it was just a fun side project for me and nothing I'm taking to seriously. If anything I'll just replace the whole bookshelf In a few years if it gets to old looking anyways

Works Brilliantly!
Even though this is an indoor paint, I've used it on the exterior of my home to amazing effect! The glitter is mixed in with a clear translucent paint and so this is best applied over a white background or over a color that you want to sparkle. In my case, I applied the glitter paint over a dark gray checkerboard pattern I created using the original brickwork for my house and on my exterior home columns which I painted a sky blue color. The glitter paint is very subtle and so you can only see it glimmer from certain angles or up close. I had originally purchased this paint at Home Depot but it appears the paint is combustible and kept busting out of the cans. Consequently, they've discontinued this paint at Home Depot and I was only able to find it online. I would advise being careful if you plan to store this paint in a hot garage as the can might suddenly pop open. However, if you plan on using the paint right away (as I did) you shouldn't encounter any problems. I've had this paint on my house now for about 3-4 months and have experienced no issues with it. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to add a bit of flare to their interior or exterior paint job!

Beautiful glittery paint - great customer service
The paint is beautiful. I only applied 1 coat as the wall is very long, and the result is fantastic. You can see the video I uploaded but it looks even better in person. Also the customer service was outstanding. There was a small delay with the shipping of the package and they contacted me to let me know and update me about the situation. They asked me if I wanted to go through with it or cancel, and they sent the package as soon as I gave them the go ahead. I still received the package in a promptly manner despite the small delay. Things happen, It's the service you receive what matters the most.

Fast delivery
Does its job, definitely use over a darker colour, the paint is very thick and sticky so it comes out patchy on wall but does overall do the job!
