This is my #1 skincare product. I don’t have perfect skin but this makes the most of it. Gives my skin a healthy glowy sparkly pretty. Warning, if it’s your first time using, there could def be a purge period for a couple of weeks before skin adjusts. It’s worth it.

I'd been using a more mild retinol and wasn't seeing results, so I decided to try something stronger. I use Revision products regularly so I figured their retinol would be good as well. It's a great product IF you follow the application instructions. I used it two days in a row and my face suffered a bit. It looked and felt like a very bad sunburn. My face has since calmed down and I'm using it appropriately. My skin looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I wish I would have taken before photos. Highly recommend using this product (2-3 times per week that is).

This is my second bottle. Since using it my skin looks healthier and younger. It significantly reduced my sun spots and evened out my skin tone.

Go easy with this product if you’re new to retinol. I’ve found it to be too strong for my skin.

I am new to using retinol. In researching proper use of this over the counter preparation I learned there are several types of retinoids which are legally allowed to be sold in USA as an over the counter product. I began with the 0.5% lotion from REVISION SKINCARE RETINOL COMPLETE 0.5%. The directions state to use twice a week (only) in the evening on clean skin. This is a yellow lotion which is easy to apply. Some things I have learned are you MUST avoid the eye area. Also the area over my lip had a bad peeling reaction and I found opinions online stating to avoid the think skin all around the lips so I switched my routine to follow that tip. Regarding the different types of retinoids on the market I found this quote from a dermatologist medical doctor on the Allure website: ""In off-the-shelf formulas, the ingredient called retinol is the only derivative of vitamin A worth using," says Dana Sachs, an associate professor of dermatology at the University of Michigan Medical School." Therefore I am glad to see that REVISION uses the recommended best over the counter RETINOL. I also found a tip online that the start of using retinol may also be limited to once a week for the first month then increase to twice a week --- and to always start with the 0.5%. A person should not increase to 1% preparation for months, perhaps six or even more. I had ordered this 1% before knowing that it is not good to begin with 1%, so I have had to put this to the side while my skin gets used to the process. Only after I finish the 0.5% will it be safe to switch to try the 1%. After my first week with the 0.5% I did notice changes with what appears to be changing pore size and a general smoothing out of the skin texture. I read that the full effects of using retionoids are not seen until six months of use, I will continue to use this 0.5% until I finish it then will try a change to REVISION RETINOL 1% .
