If you look in the owners manual it will tell you exactly what kind of oil to use weather it is fully synthetic partially synthetic or or whether it is a pure oil. Beyond that I could not say as I have never had a jaguar simply because I don't buy gas guzzlers the largest engine size I have had is a Ford Escort 1.6 Zetec. But with it being a new model I would expect the oil to be a Castrol fully synthetic oil 5W 30. So I hope this as helped you somewhat..
