I bought this to replace the cable that shipped with my Dell U2720QM 4K monitor. I've had that monitor for many years and the cable it comes with has worked just as long, but it's ugly, and its stiffness makes it feel like it's too short sometimes, even though it shouldn't be. I tried a CableMatters 6ft cable first to replace it, and it simply didn't work well or sometimes at all. I went back to the factory cable, assuming that there was some special sauce other manufacturers couldn't put in theirs. Then on a whim, I ordered this despite the price seeming too good to be true and it being marked as frequently returned, but it works! It has identical functionality to the factory cable, it looks good, and thanks to it not being too thick or stiff, I found 3.3ft to be long enough. Charging speeds are seemingly identical, but I tested with my MacBook Air, so consider it untested whether it can go higher than 40W. Based on every other part I tested being perfect, I would assume it goes up to 100W as advertised. I usually avoid no-name cables but I'm glad I rolled the dice this time because I was lucky. I can't yet vouch for the high data speeds, but since this isn't a Thunderbolt or a USB4 cable, I imagine a lot of people just want it to plug in to an external monitor with peripherals, and this gets that job done flawlessly. If that's your use case, just get this and pocket all the money you would've had to spend on a more widely known brand and/or Thunderbolt/USB4.

I wanted a shorter cable to hook my laptop to my portable extended monitor. This works out great. It doesn’t have the excess slack with the other cords that the portable monitor came with so I really like this!

For my job, I'm often on the road between locations and a single screen on my laptop isn't enough, so I carry my portable display long with me to set up my "Command Center". Just the other week the USB C to C cable that came included with my monitor decided to die out on me and disconnect. I wanted to see if it was my monitor or my cable that decided to not work, so I ordered this cable. The cable itself is well made and long enough where it gives me space so I can sprawl out onto a desk or table, but it's not annoyingly enough where it's hanging and drooping off the table, waiting for it to be stepped on and pulling down my set-up. When I plugged in my display with the cable, instantly things booted up and it displayed a nice, crisp resolution at 1080p (I don't have a 4k display). I also tried connecting my Samsung Fold 6 and I was able to boot up DeX as well. Overall it's a great cable for video. I didn't use the cable for charging or anything like that, but I'd assume it works well for that purpose as well.

Update - after receiving a refund, the seller also reached out and offered to send me a new cable to replace the one i originally received to try and resolve the issue. I have re-evaluated my rating to account for the excellent customer service, and better yet if the new cable works as intended! I somehow keep falling for this scenario.. This is a poor quality cable, blurred text and overall poor image quality when used as DP connection. I’m using a ultrawide monitor (3840x1600) connected to a M4 macbook air. Image quality from the macbook is fine using another (higher priced) cable, so the problem is isolated to this specific cable. Forever the optimist that I can find a good products at a cheaper prices, but 9 out 10 times, low price equals poor quality.

This cable was just what I needed. My cable for the docking station I use for my work computer broke unexpectedly and this worked perfectly as a replacement. It was long enough but not too long to create extra cable getting in the way.

Both of the 10-foot cables I received fail to connect to my CF Express card reader or mount a drive on the first try. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. The idea they're rated for 5 Gbps is an outright lie. One cable topped off at 2.5 Gbps and the other one failed to mount the drive entirely. Furthermore, the power capabilities are far overstated. Instead of 100W, I am topping out at barely 18W with these cables. The voltage is as-promised per USB PD spec, but the amperage is far too low (not even 1 amp). The 15-foot cable I received maxes out at 5 Gpbs with no problem. However, the power delivery specs are also false. Instead of 100W, I am only getting 26 watts charging a device that charges with 50W+ with a quality cable. Edit: Seller offered a full refund for this order, which I accepted.
