I was surprised how thin the rods are, but they are easy to adjust in height. However, they are for a small window.

Strong and easy to install. They fixed my problem of window sliding down and saved expensive repair.

These items really work.

I ordered this for a sliding glass door. It’s diameter is very small- enough that I decided to not use it. I didn't try this but I think you could easily yank on the door and cause it to break or fall out. Back to the 2X4 on the bottom of the door.

I expected these to be more like a closet or shower bar, but the diameter is about the size of my pinky finger. I have both on the window where the air conditioner is, but I don't have much confidence that they would stop someone from opening the window from outside. Already, one just fell off when I moved the blind, and as I put that back in place, the other fell off. They were tightly locked in place the night before. I don't trust the springs in them. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything else that will fit that window while the AC is in, so they're going to have to do for now. I'll likely have someone cut a strip of wood to fit.
