Sight Mount Plate Pistol Mount Plate

The mount is well made and finished. It is seems to be aluminum with a black coating. It fit my Vortex optic just as it was supposed to. It did not fit the Charles Daly 1911 as the slot was much to small, but a couple of hours with a Dremel tool grinding the bevel on the insert made it work. It took a while because it has to be done carefully, grinding and fitting and grinding. If too much is take odd, it is ruined. My son’s sight vise was invaluable. As a note, the Charle Daly 1911 was not mentioned in the guns it fit. I bought the mount purely on speculation.

You can always tell how good a company is by the quality of their packaging. This one was superb, thick see though plastic. That's about where the good quality stops. Seems to me that the known deminsions of the glock slide would make it easier to make a product like this with tighter tolerances. I installed this one and found it difficult to keep straight on the slide which can interfere with accuracy. I had to use a vise and micrometer to get it acceptably straight. Aside from that HUGH issue it's a okay product made of aluminum. Be careful not to strip it out. May or may not be good for you, it was mediocre for me.

Set it up on my Glock 17, let it sit for more then 48 to let the locktite really cure. Took it to the range a few days later to test it, 30 minutes into it everything was well going well until the mount flew off after firing a round. The small plate piece to hold it had warped inwards and the screw holes were stripped. Ordered a replacement and that same piece for some reason doesn’t sit still. I can push it in left or right and it just slides out (Doesn’t let me post a video for some reason) This might not be the same with everyone but this was my experience, just gonna look somewhere else

As advertised !!!Use a small amount of lock tight or thread sealant!!! buyin for second time, As I forgot lock tight the bolts and then rear sight block want to BFE. ( Red dot wan't attached to the mounting plate cuz I was swapping it in and out of micro conversion kits) !!!Completely user error!!! Installed on a G21 SF gen 4 with zero problems or modifications. Mounted to ADE crusader optic Completely level and easily! Could use better quality fasteners. (Ended up using mine from the stock ADE crusader parts) Over all 4/5. Definitely a dicent purchase and worth the Money

This mount is for the standard GI slide cut. It is not fitting the Novak LoMount. Works as advertised. I mounted it to a EAA Girsan 1911 commander. It required a shim to dial in the green dot sight properly.

Plate is good quality and fits the slide, but the screws are low quality. After 3 magazines, the screws sheared off from the recoil and launched my red dot straight into my forehead lol. I installed this on a Rock Island GI 1911 by modifying the mounting plate to fit the rear GI cuts. If you get this product, make sure you get stronger screws before use.

This is a dovetail mounting sight. Remove your glock rear sight, install this one.The description wasn't completely clear in my opinion. I got exactly what I needed, but felt it was a little bit of a gamble if this was just for a glock mos slide. I bought this to test out a red dot sight on my glock 19 with a Vortex Venom. Everything fit well. I was able to get everything tight without issue, and threw in some loctite for good measure and optic protection! Obviously this adapter puts your optic higher than with a milled slide, but it works great until you can pony up the funds for a cut or new slide. I was still able to zero and put holes in paper at 20 yards.
