I purchased my blender in May 2020, and I just realized recently that I never left a review of this product, which I usually try to do, especially with kitchen gadgets. I have used this blender almost daily, or at the very least several times a week for over two and a half years now, cycling through all the attachments, though using the Immersion Blender or Milk Frother more than the whisk. This is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets ever. It has been a true workhorse with a strong motor, and it never lets me down. I love the immersion blender for creaming soups (especially potato or butternut squash soup), mashing beans, and making smoothies in a mason jar. Besides frothing milk or making whipped cream, the frother is great for mixing all the powder-based "stuff" in my coffee or iced drink concoction that is stubborn about dissolving. I love that it has multiple speeds and is easy to handle, and the cord is plenty long enough, at least the way my kitchen is configured. I've also had occasion to contact the Mueller customer service, and they respond super fast and are just the BEST all around to deal with. Interestingly, as I write this review (December 13, 2022), even with the sky-high inflation jacking up prices of EVERYTHING, this blender is now $7 cheaper ($29.95 + $2 coupon) than when I purchased it in May 2020 for $34.95. OMG. That's a NO-BRAINER price, especially if you do a deep dive and read the plethora of crap-tastic reviews that many the single-use milk frother gadgets for just a few dollars less are getting. If this product were damaged or lost or just up and quit working today, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. And after discovering how affordable it still is with the current no-brainer price, I checked with my family members and discovered my two adult grandkids don't have one. In fact, they've never heard of an immersion blender LOL. So after sending them a video and getting their "Oh, that's so cool!" response, guess what they are going to find in their Christmas stocking? I'm still a happy camper after all these years. Bought this to blend some of my protein shakes and my mom ended up using it more. Makes life easier as it’s easy to clean

I have had this for a very long time before writing this review. Probably for a good four years. When I first got the product I had no problems with it and then all of a sudden, all of the parts inside busted I ended up calling the company they helped talk me through and we got some new parts sent out with no problem. Ever since then I’ve had no issues at all. Definitely durable and well worth the money.

Update 2/27/2023: It lasted 4 1/2 years, with nearly daily use. The motor started skipping and smoking a little bit. Kinda hoped it would last forever. Oh well. This stick blender arrived just in time for me to make my Frito-Lay bean dip knockoff. This blender can be submerged up to about 7.5", plenty of clearance for a standard crock pot or wide-mouthed mason jar. The blender performed great in the bubbling dip--temperature did not affect performance, and transmission/speed control was smooth and powerful. Turbo mode came in handy chopping up chunkier bits. Two versatile kitchen tools that work wonders together are a stick blender and wide-mouth mason jars. This stick blender and its blade guard fit in mason jars with 1/4-1/3 inch to spare--perfect size to avoid eruption. And mason jars can handle hotter liquid than inexpensive blenders, and a stick blender gives one more control if things look like they're going to get out of hand. Clean up is a snap--so much easier than a blender or food processor. Those two implements = perfect smoothie factory. Other pros: -blender and whisk attachments attach/detach very easily -speed control is ergo and well-thought out -stands up on its own--not top heavy and won't topple over and make a mess -especially on low speed, whisk attachment will come in very handy -for light to medium duty this stick blender will replace a blender, food processor, and hand mixer, and take up less space than any of them Cons: -the blade guard (or whatever it's called) could be made out of a material other than metal, or coated with something like silicone, vinyl, rubber, so it can be used in teflon pans, ceramic bowls, or enameled cookware, so the metal doesn't mar or discolor their surfaces. -a longer cord would be nice (this one's is about 4.5' long) -There are a few seams in the case in which I'm afraid food bits may get lodged. A seamless case would be nice. -The blender will not chop ice. Or knead bread dough haha. Can't have everything.

My old stick blender wore out a while ago, so I shopped around on Amazon to find a replacement. I came across an article that highly recommended this product, and then I saw it was top-rated on Amazon, so when I saw a price drop, I went for it. Fantastic purchase. It works better than I thought - it is wonderfully powerful. I loaded up smoothie materials - and promptly had stuff spinning out of my oversized cup. Once I adjusted to the power, it was quick and easy to use. Occasionally I had to take my finer off the button because the suction the blades created sucked the bottom of the glass up so not much blending was getting done. But about two inches from the bottom of the cup, and everything gets liquified just fine - and very quickly. The device itself, chrome and black with dark blue lights, looks like it cost well more than twice what I paid. And it comes apart easily for washing. It is also easy to rinse clean since it does not have nooks and crannies like my last stick blender, so I don't have to go digging in to clean it out. I might not have actually needed to get this stick blender, but I have no regrets or remorse over picking it up. It has been a great addition to my kitchen just for making smoothies. But I am also looking forward to making cauliflower soup again as well as other recipes. If you want a stick blender, this is a high quality and effective device. Really glad I bought it.

... some time ago. Somewhere between a milk frother and a small blender, Ninja, Bullet, this hand held should be in your kitchen. I didn't know I needed one of these things until I bought this one on sale, and now it is my go-to. I do everything from mix hummingbird food to mincing onions with this handheld mixer stick. Easy to clean, everything but the motor goes into the dishwasher, and that is smooth enough to easily wipe down. It takes a little technique-building to get the hang of it, seems to me a little bit unwieldy, but once you do, it is easy to work with. I haven't done it yet, but I'll bet this is a butter-making hero. The only gripe I have is the edge of the blade housing that attaches to the motor. It is VERY sharp on the motor end of the attachment. Be very careful with it until you hit it a couple of swipes with some 220 grit sandpaper to get that machined edge rounded over. Other than that, this a useful addition to any busy kitchen.
