I picked up this red dot sight for my pellet pistol, and I have to say I'm genuinely impressed, especially considering the price. I wasn't expecting this level of quality from such an affordable optic, but it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was quick and straightforward. It mounted securely to the rail, and I had it sighted in after just a few adjustments. Once zeroed, it has held its point of aim well during my shooting sessions. The glass is nice and clear, the red dot is bright and easy to see, and the multiple brightness settings make it easy to use in different lighting conditions. The construction also feels much more solid than I expected. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, and everything from the adjustment knobs to the mount has a quality feel to it. What really stands out is the value for the money. There are certainly more expensive red dot sights on the market, but for casual target shooting, plinking, or mounting on a pellet gun, this one delivers excellent performance without breaking the bank. If you're looking for a dependable, budget-friendly red dot that is easy to mount, easy to zero, and performs well, I think this is an excellent choice. I'd definitely buy it again. I purchased 2 of these. For the price this red dot is awesome. I’m not a serious shooter, mostly for target practice. I don’t have the most expensive guns, but I do like accuracy, and it’s pretty good for my needs. Compared to other red dots that cost $150 - $400, it does what I want. I put the dot on the target and as long as I’m steady it puts the bullet on or close to the dot. It does not have a shake awake feature, you have to physically turn it on. It does run off a battery, they send 2. After about 4 shooting sessions I’m still on the first battery. I have only shot indoors at a gun range so I can see the dot pretty well, you can adjust the brightness of the dot. Haven’t used on an outside gun range yet, so not sure how bright the dot will be in sun light. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it. If using for personal protection, seconds count, may want a shake awake feature. Fits great and easy install on my AR style rifles.

I just received this a few minutes ago, so this is just 'first impressions'. ***It feels 'weighty', which, in such a small 'package', that seems like a good thing. ***It is SMALL, like others have said, but, that doesn't work against it, it is more of a positive thing. ***The looks, well, it is a VERY attractive thing, I like it, I got the sand color because they didn't offer the FDE color, but this is kind of close to the Flat Dark Earth. From the Amazon picture it looked like it was going to be a semi-glossy 'gold' color, at least it's not that. ***The red dot itself is very bright, I have not used it outside, it's all cloudy anyway. I have an astigmatism, so of course the dot won't be round, I am more than sure it's me, not it. I am STILL awaiting my Ruger PC Carbine to put it on, so I don't know how that will be since it's a Desert Verde color, which is almost a VERY light sage green. While I am waiting I placed it on a couple more rifles and as far as I can tell, it will be fine, that is, IF it holds up when I do use it, that still remains to be seen. ***I cannot (yet) attest to any accuracy. ***The quality appears to be very good. ***It also appears to be made very durable. The box it shipped in was a very sturdy one, and I had zero problems on my order, which is a really good thing. ***It has been mentioned that the riser is crooked, mine looks fine on one end, the other end does 'appear' to be slightly off, although, that could sure be just a trick on my vision, but, when I get it all installed, I will know more and report back, I promise. On mine, where the riser meets the scope is where it appears that way not where it meets the rifle. I'll add more and change things once I know more. Hopefully this will be a good one. My ONLY real thing that I wish it had is a green dot, too, I love the green ones, this doesn't come that way and I knew it, so it's a not so much a negative than it is a 'I wish it was green, too'.

I've had this exact sight for SIX YEARS its on a pistol chassis that runs 22-40 cal And has held zero when adjusted and has been roughed up over the years I will say the dot has a *slight Starburst but is barely noticeable and still works great. For the price it cant be beat. Would buy another and im considering the prism sight and pistol light to review as well since this did so great.

You get what you pay for. Installed it, it seems sturdy, the switch doesn’t have a stopper on it so you have to make sure it’s off before you put it away. It did come with two batteries so that was good.

Purchased this dot and had low expectations. It was $37 so what’s to expect? As a huge fan of the Romeo series, especially the 5 and MSR, I didn’t think it would compare. First test was a drop test. Dropped four times twice from waist level and twice from chest level. Lens down; once per side. Dot still works. Second test was throw test. We literally threw it like a softball, twice, onto a concrete slab to simulate a weapon drop and slide. Dot continued to work. Third test was the battery. We put the supplied battery in and left it on, on setting 7. Dot still works after 48 hours of continuous on. Fourth test was brightness. 1-5, indoors was to expectations, and 6-11 setting outdoors is more than adequate. Fifth test was mounting. The supplied mount is designed for 1/3 co-witness. These reviews saying it’s the wrong mount is incorrect in our testing. It is a 1in Mount so it has a specific purpose. Mounted securely with no issues and worked very well with 1/3 co-wit. Replaced mount with UTG .83 riser for absolute co-witness. Again, mounted perfectly. Perfectly aligned with BUIS for true co-wit. We mounted this optic to a new 7.62x39 AR platform build (AR-47) and test fired it using 500 rounds. The optic was bore sighted first then 5 rounds to center it. This applied to both mounts. We then tested each mount with 100 rounds. We then ran various drills to check for zero with mag dumps, zipper, rapid fire, and at 25-150 yards for accuracy. No issues with zero. No drifting, no shifting, no parallax, no noticeable dot changes. Conclusion: For $37 you can’t beat this TRS-25 clone. It’s a great range/plinking toy optic and we will be buying a few more. The biggest question for us: Is it life dependable? Short answer is: We don’t know and that is relative. Battery life is undetermined and will depend on battery type, setting, and usage. Also, we are still not sure of long term usage and round count. For a battle rifle we won’t recommend it. For home defense, you be the judge. Too many unknown variables for duty rifle and with ample battery changes and testing it could be okay for home defense. To be far, this is true for all optics no matter the price range. These 5k-50k battery times are realistic but that doesn’t mean it won’t fail if you don’t use a premium battery. For now, on our PDWs and Duty rifles we will use premium optics but for our range toys we will use these. Will will test this same optic on our PCC builds and standard AR builds and update the review should we incur any issues. Afterwards, this will live on this AR-47 build.

I'd recommend this to throw on a range toy but probably not a home defense firearm. It works well and I am actually impressed with the quality. I like how easy it is to twist the knob to turn the red dot on. The big reason I don't recommend it for home defense is because there is a small amount of parallax. I directly compared it to my Sig Romeo sight which seems to have no noticeable parallax. It could be off by several inches at 25 yards if the user isn't looking directly through the center of the sight. I also can't confirm how well it holds its zero over time. All in all, great product for the price. I would certainly buy again! But might be worth investing in a high quality one for a life-or-death scenario.
