Great size for traveling!
Bought this for traveling to Red River Gorge. It folds down to the shortest we've ever seen comparative to the full length. Definitely recommend!

Great Affordable Stick Clip
I got this because it was a little less expensive than others on the market. I took a gamble not knowing how well it would hold up, especially seeing mixed reviews. But I’ve taken it out climbing several times now and even accidentally dropped it and it’s been great. Based on my experience, it’s a quality device that’s easy to use. Would happily buy another.

Great for the price. Sturdy when extended and very easy to clip/unclip quickdraws.
I ordered this to compare with the Trango Beta Stick Compact and it holds up very well. The Clip-Up extends ever so slightly longer (approx. 7") than the Beta Stick Compact, though it weighs about 50% more. The locking mechanism is made from solid metal and seems very robust and secure while extended, though I find the lever action of the Trango is easier to use. Overall, I prefer the head of the Clip-Up as it is quite similar to the Superclip, though it doesn't seem as heavy duty and could potentially be deformed/bent. Unlike the Beta Stick, this will almost certainly NOT work with mini carabiners (it did not work with the Metolius FS Mini I tried), and may not work with wire gate carabiners. Overall, this thing seems like a great stick clip, and it's about 20% cheaper than the Beta Stick. Definitely worth consideration if you're in the market for a stick clip!

broke on the first use
In theory this is a good product. It's sleek. We used it the first time and the top pole flew right out of the stick. It wasn't fixable. Don't waste your money on this.
