This is natto starter spores, not natto
These are packets of natto spores, a starter culture to make your own natto. One little envelope of spores will make a LOT of natto, more than I can do in a single batch. I have used these to make strong, sticky natto at home.

I thought the size would be equivalent to a package of ramen but this is waaaay smaller and it doesn't feel like anything is in the pouches. Maybe one bean👎🏻
