Good sampler. Akko makes great switches
Building my first mechanical and read Akko makes the best budget switches for the price. This kit is very good but not sure why the Creamy Yellow Magnetic is included. It's unusable. I found that I like Dracula and Rosewood the best. Still both too light for me so I went with the Dracula's (because they have the LED diffuser) and put 60g springs in them. Adding more lube also deepened the sound. Super happy. They also only come in sets of 45 for some reason so I put the remaining switches from this kit in my F keys. I actually used Fairy in my spacebar and Lavender Purple in my backspace key as well.

Good tester for first build
I was a little hesitant to buy this as there is a note in the description that said the switches might be different due to what’s available at the time. That being said, I’m very happy with the switches that came! Something that should be noted is that a lot of the AKKO switches are now v3 versions and so they may seem a little different when they come on this sampler. I noticed some reviews said that there acrylic base came cracked but everything arrived in perfect condition and all the switches sat firmly in their slots. That being said, I loved being able to try all the Akko switches and even the gateron milky yellows which was an unexpected surprise! In the end, I went with the Akko creamy yellow pro v3 and I don’t regret it at all. I definitely think this is worth it for anyone wanting to experiment with switches!

Great for testing switches, but quality control issue.
I had a similar experience to another reviewer. Was excited because the intent was to try new switches but one of the main ones I wanted to try was not on my tester. The downside of this is that it did not come with all the advertised switches. Three of the switches in my tester were Hall Effect/Magnetic switches which I didn't mind testing out, since I'm considering some for my new keyboard. Similar to another reviewer my kit was also missing Dracula, V3 Creamy Purple Pro v3, and V3 Creamy Black Pro, Stellar Rose, Mirror, and Botany. It included an older Cilantro switch that has been discontinued, the newer Bittersweet Tactile switch, Creamy Cyan (clicky), the Astrolink and AstroAim magnetic switches, and one switch I have been unable to identify after thoroughly researching current and discontinued Akko switch models. I'm not entirely upset with the purchase as it provided quality switches and a variety of them, but the listing should be updated to reflect what you actually get, and the quality control of the product isn't great, especially finding a single no-name switch in the board when it should consist of only Akko and Monsgeek (Akko brand as well) switches.

Love it!!! Will buy again when they have new sets!
Awesome. I wish it came with labels or a leaflet or something that stated which switches I got. I got 15 Akko and 1 Monster Geek. Which I didn't mind coz all of the Akkos that I wanted to try came with this!! I'd say it is worth buying. The case is nice and thick. No cracks. I had to label them.. It was bothering me... I wish there was a way to figure out if I can get different sets...

Did not come with advertised switches.
Solid set of test switches. However I did not receive the same switches that were advertised. 3/16 switches did not have pins at all. I’ve attached a legend to help those who would like to identify the switches on the board if yours came in like mine did.

It's a great fidget toy and tester
Well made keyboard switch holder/tester wish it had more clicky and tactile switches instead of the linear, but it works and is a quality product. Fun to click on while waiting for downloads updates and installs especially if you work with computers and spend a lot of time waiting or need something to occupy your hands while working on something else. Also good to figure out what kind of switches you want or don't know the differences between types, or if you have a custom computer shop to let customers see what they want.

Great for testing switches
I purchased the version with a cover and it works great! Being able to test each switch with my keyboard allowed me to really see what works best before buying a lot of that type of switch. If you want creamy switch sounds, this is the purchase for you. If you want a creamy keyboard, this is a great sample to find what works and sounds best for you and your board.

No Info Given
Received 16 switches. 10 of them match the images. 6 are a mystery, presumably, as they note, newer versions of existing switches. There was nothing in the packaging that explained the provenance of these mystery switches. The whole reason I purchased this is to test switches. If I don't know what switches I'm testing, it's useless. If I have to spend a bunch of extra time looking up the switches just to know what I'm testing, that's time of mine the company chose to waste.

Needs a list of what switch is which and also keycaps...but understand this is just a distributor and not the manufacture About 8 or 10 switches feel very similar to me which I found surprising

While this did not come with a sheet to tell me what keys were which, a quick search online and learning by tapping the different keys quickly showed me which was which, for the first time in my life, I truly understood what linear and tactile keys are, something reading about them will never teach you. Keycaps, sold separately, are needed to complete the experience. The sound changes, and the feeling when you press the key changes. And when you're done, it becomes a super fun fidget toy. My kids can't put it down.

Keinerlei beschriftung.
