This book is my GOTO when teaching all levels of REIKI. It is well written, clear and easy to follow. Excellent book.

Informative and Practical
I purchased several Reiki books after completing level 2 training in Reiki. This is one of my favorites, providing a good review and many practical tips and insights.

Excellent training manual
One of the best teacher manuals I've used. I am a Reiki master teacher and have trained and certified many students utilizing this manual. Just remember that it is UK based so. The UK laws are not applicable in the US.

A comprehensive Reiki reference.
I have been attuned to the Reiki master level. This book was assigned to me to read before I received the 3rd attunement. What it has going for it: * It covers each level's information and techniques. Many of the techniques I had never heard of nor conceived before, and they were easily practiced. * It gives several versions of the 5 Reiki Principles, including a photograph of an authentic calligraphy written by Usui himself, and translated. It also offers commentary on each. * It gives many insights into the process and struggles of running a Reiki business. * It describes as many types of Reiki as one could find on the Internet; it lists information and resources to find out more. * It has multiple illustrations showing hand positions, both touching and not touching clients. Each of these things are described in concise terms, easy to read and apply. There are review questions and activities at the end of each chapter, in case this book is chosen as a text for Reiki classes. This is a great Reiki reference. It does not give any symbols, but it does describe them, and their uses in clear and practicable terms. If you want a good reiki reference, get this one. Aside from not showing the actual glyphs of the symbols, this is a comprehensive Reiki manual, just as it claims.
