This will be short since there are good video reviews for the Retroid Pocket Flip available online if you look for them. I love it! I've owned DS and 3DS and love the clamshell format of these devices. The screen is awesome, the controls are perfect, the battery lasts a long time, the case is solid and closes well. As I said, look for detailed reviews online. The only two improvement I would suggest to the Retroid Pocket Flip is the case could accommodate a slightly larger viewing screen and the stereo speakers could be located on the top instead of the bottom of the unit, but they sound great anyway, better and louder than my New 3DS XL in my opinion.

This Retroid Pocket Flip is a fantastic little device for retro gaming! It was super easy to set up, and I was playing my favorite old-school games in no time. The clamshell design is awesome – it protects the screen and adds a cool retro vibe. The controls are responsive, and the screen is bright and clear. I highly recommend this console for anyone who wants to relive their childhood gaming memories.

This is my second go around with this thing (my first unit died on me after just 2 weeks of use). I still feel it is a good little handheld gaming device though (that's why I bought another one) and I especially like the clamshell form factor for ease of portability. And since it is Android OS it can mirror the functionality of any Android phone in terms of gaming and multimedia use. Battery life is pretty decent, lasting a whole day with moderate use. Gaming controls are very responsive and comfortable to use and the freedom to add and play almost any kind of game from multiple different platforms is still amazing to me. Still, the powering problem with the first one still haunts me but I am hoping that it was an isolated issue and won't be the case with this unit. Time will certainly tell.

This works great!! You do have to download the games and some of the older games are on a small screen but can adjust the size too. Watch a YouTube tutorial on how to work it and it shouldn’t be hard.

I'm updating my review. This handheld was great.....while it lasted. Sadly past the warranty window both r2 and l2 triggers pretty much exploded inside the device I thought maybe a spring had just come off or something but when I opened it up plastic pieces just fell all over the place Also sad is that you can't like super glue them back together or anything because of they way they are made. So now I'm relegated to playing games that don't need to have r2 or l2. Just something to be aware of when purchasing this item.

I got this as a Christmas present for my brother, and he loved it so much! It can play a ton of games, new and old. I was super impressed he was even able to play Starfield on it!

Perfect if you want a clamshell emulation handheld you can put in your pocket without worrying about screen protectors and joysticks. It can be a bit of a pain to get set up though so watch retro game corps video on it.
