I purchased this travel-sized mini 1.44-ounce Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Ultra-Blur Tone-Up Rose, and I am obsessed! I appreciate that this powder is finely milled, works great on aging skin, and doesn't settle into fine lines or wrinkles. It has a barely-there pigment that doesn't change the color of your makeup but rather adds a nice, soft, peachy glow. The blurring effect is definitely there, and it does last all day without touching up, but I have dry skin. Oily skin may need an occasional touch-up. Like most Laura Mercier products, this setting powder contains mica and gives a lovely brightening effect. A little bit goes a very long way. To be honest, I always purchase the travel-sized products when they are available because they last a long time, and this practice helps keep my supply fresh. This product does not come with a puff, but I was able to find some small puffs made by a different brand, and one of those fits nicely into the container for traveling. I recommend using a puff to press this setting powder into your makeup to give it more staying power, to avoid wasting product, and to avoid inhaling the fine particulates of the setting powder. I truly believe that this is one of the best loose setting powders on the market, and I don't mind paying a higher price for a superior product. I highly recommend this setting powder. It's the best I've ever used.

Perfection. Did not feel like I had a cake on my face. I’m 50 so mature skins doesn’t always love powder. This one does the job.

I have finally found a translucent powder that I really love. It gives a nice, finished look and you don’t wind up with an orangey cast to your makeup by the end of the day. The smaller container is great for travel but the larger on is a better value. A little pricey but worth it.

I love this setting powder. Having said that I don’t use very much at all, a little goes a long way on mature skin. I dewey natural makeup and this sets it without leaving my face sticky. Translucent and light, so no color match issues for me.

This makes all the difference in how my makeup looks. It blurs imperfections, doesn’t settle in fine lines. Even if you use a drugstore budget makeup, this will make your makeup look fabulous. Best beauty product I own! Definitely worth the money. You don’t need much if you have mature skin. It will probably last me more than a year.

Of course, Laura Mercier has loose powder is a holy Grail in the makeup world. I had previously been using the powder that had talc in it, and I was really liking the soft mate Focus that it was giving me. I was getting compliments all the time I purchased this one, not realizing that this was the talc free one that is Using Mica and other ingredients like hyloronic acid and vitamin C. I find with this formula though it is not as smoothing on my skin as the original Laura Mercier rose powder, but it’s a really beautiful powder if you want that sutle glow because it does give you that, it gives you this beautiful lit within glow, and I got past all of the feelings of it not looking perfectly matte. So I decided to go ahead and keep both of them because I want to use the matte version that has the talc in it for using around my whole face, and I’m just gonna keep the talc free one to use underneath my eyes, then around some of the points of my face that I would like to highlight because it does have a tiny little bit of shimmery glitter, but not too big, not gigantic glitter just a little bit and it really does alive in your skin. I say go for either one. They’re both beautiful and it just goes for whatever your looking for in your make up.

This powder does a great job of removing shine and making pores on nose look smaller. I have it in a couple different shades and love it!

Just love the lightness of this face powder and it doesn’t change the colour of your foundation it’s quite expensive for the size of the pot but as it’s so fine you only need a little so it goes a long way. Have used this brand for a while now and just love it
