ECCO Men's Soft 7 Sneaker

I have been buying this shoe every year for the past five or six years. At this point, my family recognizes them and would know exactly what they look like if I asked. It has honestly become my signature look. I absolutely love them. The design is perfect with the white bottom, black leather, shiny lace hoops, and waxed laces. Closer to the one year mark, after wearing them regularly, the black leather starts to show wear and the shoes begin to look used. That is usually when I order a new pair, but I never throw out the old ones. I keep them as my do anything shoes. If I need to wash the car or go to the park, I wear the older pair since I do not worry about getting them dirty. The newest pair is reserved for going out or wearing to the office. I usually retire a pair completely after about two years. For me, they are durable enough to last a year or more depending on how hard I use them. The white part tends to discolor sooner than I would like, but I included pictures to show what that looks like. Some marks are just on the surface and can be cleaned off. This is the only reason I would like to rate them a 4.5 stars. These are the only shoes I wear because they are extremely comfortable. They are the only pair I have found that does not make the bottom of my feet hurt when standing for long periods. One thing to note is they do squeak on tile or other hard floors, probably because the grip is so strong. I really hope these never get discontinued. Ecco made a high top version once that I also loved.

I've been wearing these shoes for over three months now. I felt I needed to hold off on the review until I really knew what type of shoes these were. First and foremost, these shoes look good. I usually don't buy leather shoes, but I really liked how these look. That was one factor in deciding whether or not I wanted to purchase them. Another factor was how comfortable they were. Obviously, I couldn't gauge that by just looking at them. After wearing them for over three months, I can say they're pretty comfortable. They provide solid support with the stock insoles and I expect them to last quite a while longer. A little bit of a bonus, perhaps, is that these shoes have not gotten stinky yet. I don't know if I have less foot odor compared to other people, but when I stick my nose in my shoes I don't smell any bad odors, just leather. The laces are of high quality as well. I don't expect to be replacing them anytime soon. My favorite part of these shoes are the treads. They look really cool, and they don't hold onto much dirt. They still look as if they haven't been worn. However, when walking on polished floors, you will hear a noticeable squeak. Kind of like it just rained out, except all the time. Because these are leather, you may need to apply some leather conditioner after a year or so, depending on how the leather holds up. I expect I probably won't need to do that for a while yet. Overall, these are great shoes, and I would definitely buy from ECCO again.

It took a few tries to find the right size: I'm a US 14D and need an Ecco 49, which is a full size larger than the conversion chart says. I went through that exercise many years ago, and can now confidently buy any Ecco shoes online and know they'll fit. Their sizes are 100% consistent within the brand, so once you know which one fits you, any other Ecco of the same size will also fit. I have a few of their cap and bicycle toe oxfords in various colors which are great for business casual / every day wear. I'm on my 3rd pair of what they're currently calling Track II, the first set lasted 10 years of literally every day wear on concrete and asphalt, river rocks, lava and sand, etc. Best all around outdoor shoe I've ever had, by a mile. These leather sneaks are comfortable, seem well made, and look fine. I'd buy another set if I ever wear these out.

I ordered the 9-9/12 in the ECCO Men's Soft 7 Fashion Sneaker. As a guy with wide feet, (my true foot size is an 8 -1/2 to 9 in length and double E in width,) I thought I was forever limited to just Brooks and New Balance which are great for comfort, but let's face it, they aren't "cool" or really fashionable. Fortunately I discovered ECCO and while the toe might be a little long for me they accomodate the width of my feet well. So if you are a gentleman with the same issues, and you want something that is comfortable and fashionable, I'd say give these a shot. One other note, the color "dark shadow" is really "grey" which I wasn't able to discern in the product photo, (I thought they were dark blue) but pleasantly, they look good in real life.

Good fit. I usually wear 13, was a little concerned that the US size 13-13.5 would be too big. But it fits really good, similar to my last pair of Ecco shoes. I'm an avid walker, and although I didn't purchase these as walking shoes, every shoe I own, even dress shoes, have to be comfortable and durable enough to endure walking all day if necessary. I wouldn't take these on a trail, but I will walk a lot in them. They'll need a short break-in period, but so far, they're very comfortable. I purchased these in black, and I've already put another color/finish on my wish list for my next pair of brown shoes.

I wore these to travel for a week through Europe. They were perfect! I broke them in the week before, and once broken in they’re very comfortable and flexible. They’re easy to clean, durable, and high quality. Worth the purchase! I got lots of compliments on the shoes. They look nice and put together, and the leather is a nice shade of brown that goes with just about anything. Works for both casual and a bit more formal.

I've been wearing a pair of the soft seven perforated ones for about 2 years now and loved them. They had a lot more cushioning than these on the inside, the leather was a lot softer than these. These ones I think are going to take some time to break in because the tongue is a bit tougher of a leather and it cuts into the front of the foot. But I needed shoes super bad since my old ones literally had a hole in the toe from where my toe would be. I also felt like these ran slightly shorter than those but still true to size. They're definitely not ready made to just walk out in and take some walking and breaking in to get used to. I mostly am keeping them because the price was better than the other ones I like which the other ones around about $100 to $130. And I needed shoes asap. Would I get these again, probably not this style but definitely sticking with ecco. I do like the concrete light gray color but I wasn't expecting that I would. I normally wear white or and off-white and I actually kind of like these in the gray color. They look super nice and they were great just not as good as some of the other models that Ecco sells. If you really budget tape these are good to go with but if you have the money to spend the hundred bucks or so I'd suggest going for the soft 7 perforated if you can even find them. My two pictures one is without the Flash and the others with the flash. The one with the flash shows it a lot more gray in color which doesn't seem to be quite that gray it's a little more subtle.

Nice shoe. Can be dressed up or down. Comfortable for 10,000 steps a day!😊

Todo perfecto, cómodas. La talla es la que toca.

Soddisfacenti per i materiali e la fattura, meno per le dimensioni (più lunghe della media delle pari numero, benché simili ad altre Ecco), del tutto insoddisfacenti per un rumore che fa ad ogni passo la destra, senza visibili ragioni, dopo un mese di utilizzo. Purtroppo ne sono trascorsi di più dall'acquisto e non le posso rendere. Inutilizzabili.

黒を買いましたが見た目でもすぐに良い革を使っているのがわかります。 履き心地も外と同じく中の革の質感も良いので最高レベルですね。何度も2つのサイズを試し履きさせて頂きましたが結論としては普段よりワンサイズ低めがおすすめです。

Muy cómodos y con buena apariencia

La qualité perçue au déballage est bonne. La taille est juste. Le confort est excellent. Cerise sur le gâteau : fabriquées en Europe, sans être plus chères que les autres. A voir comment elles vieilliront, mais pour le moment je suis hyper satisfait!
