Fun for bath experiments.

Strong enough to put up with a 2 year olds playtime in messy play . Great colours to keep them interested not too fiddly

Easy to use and handy for science experiments. And for wearing as silly hats when the mood takes me. And it does. Often. On a slightly less bizarre note, this comes with a stand that seems quite flimsy - I'm not sure how much pressure it can take before it might crack or snap entirely, as some other reviewers have already noted. The funnels do mean less mess during our home ed science lessons (which are basically me getting really into it and my kids trying to sneak phone time in when I'm not looking), but using the sifter makes me wonder whether the stand will give up the ghost before too long. Expensive for what it is, but aside from the stand it all seems good quality.

This is a nice set and the company do a bunch of other products of a similar nature (have the volume flasks as well), this set has 4 funnels and a sieve along with a holder. These go really well with the volume flasks and are compatible enough you can fit the biggest flask into the holder and have a funnel at the top. There is not much in the way of examples of activities in the booklet that is provided, so you are going to have to research these ideas yourself, but the set is complete and functional and great for home projects.

This is a great way to funnel your little ones science mind playing with flow rates, and different solids/liquids through the various funnels. Not sure on the durability of some of the pieces though. £15 seems fair.

My kids love this, great for water and sand. They love that it comes with a stand and it's so much easier to use for them as they don't need to use one hand to hold the funnel and the other to pour. Very robust and easy to hold. Great fun

My kids absolutely loved using these to just pour water in the different funnels. Feel well made and come in a range of colours and sizes!

This trial set of funnels makes water play potentially more educational. This set combined with the measuring cylinders is a really useful combination. The included funnels seem decent quality plastic and build quality. The included stand seems pretty useless and very delicate. However, the funnels combined with measuring cylinders or beakers give loads more scope for water play that also leads to estimating, capacity, volume and even simple problem solving. Jolly good!

Verarbeitung und Verwendung: Die Trichter, der Siebeinsatz und der Ständer sind allesamt einwandfrei verarbeitet. Die Plastikteile haben keine scharfen Kanten oder sonstige Verarbeitungsfehler bzw. Mängel. Der Ständer könnte etwas stabiler stehen, wenn der Schwerpunkt im Boden etwas erhöht wäre. So muss etwas aufgepasst werden, dass dieser nicht umfällt. Etwas besser steht er wenn er auf der niedrigsten Höhe eingestellt ist. Die Farben sind schön farbenfroh und kindgerecht gewählt. Da sie zusätzlich noch leicht durchsichtig sind, kann man gut beobachten, wie die Flüssigkeiten oder feinen sandähnlichen Stoffe durch die Trichter fließen. Verwendung: Dank des Ständers sind beide Hände des Kindes zum Umschütten der gewünschten Stoffe frei, was die Handlung sehr erleichtert. So kann man sich gut auf das Experiment an sich konzentrieren und besser beobachten. Hinweis: Sollten nachträglich noch Mängel auffallen oder sich meine Meinung zum Artikel ändern, wird die Rezension entsprechend angepasst.

Ho avuto l'opportunità di ricevere il prodotto gratuitamente per testarlo e ho deciso di provare questo gioco e altri del medesimo produttore in un contesto didattico, dove si ha a che fare con bambini e ragazzini più grandi rispetto all'età consigliata dal gioco. Ragazzini che purtroppo non hanno uno sviluppo cognitivo e delle capacità in linea con l'età cronologica, ma che hanno comunque bisogno di progredire e di imparare. Il gioco è stato utile per progettare esperienze di apprendimento per scoperta. Gli alunni hanno imparato alcuni concetti scientifici relativi alle sostanze e ai miscugli omogenei e eterogenei, a come si possono separare, ed hanno migliorato la loro manualità. La diversa forma degli imbuti permette di creare una serie di effetti ottici che si possono visualizzare meglio se si versa acqua mescolata con coloranti alimentari (atossici). I ragazzi che sono stati coinvolti nell’attività hanno molto apprezzato e la promessa di giocare con i "Funnels" li aiuta a concentrarsi anche in altri compiti.

Il faut être accompagné d'un grand pour la manipulation, la compréhension des consignes et leur interprétation. Mais au final, par l'exemple, l'information est plus vite comprise que par la théorie. These funnels are great for water and sand play. My grandsons, ages 4 and 9, love them. We also use them with various sizes (diameters and heights) of beakers. The variety of shapes and sizes of colorful funnels are fun to use, and allow children to experiment with how fast (or slow) materials such as sand and water pass through them based on the funnels sizes and shapes. The 4-year-old uses the stand and funnels for driving his small dump trucks underneath to drop sand into them.
