I'm not a veggie lover but because I wanted to be healthier I've decided to start using them in my foods more often. Anyway this one has some but not an over abundance of it. It has helped me so much to stay on Keto because it gave me the recipes and I didn't have to think about counting carbs, fat and protein which is always my downfall when dieting. I'm simply not into keeping up with every little thing I put in my mouth. With this book I've been able to manage dinners by the week (I grocery shop weekly) and only add the things to my grocery list that I need. It helps me to stay out of isles I don't need to go in. And recently with Walmarts pick up option it makes it even easier for me not to wander. The only issue I have is an issue I seem to have with all of these books. There are no side dishes. Just main dishes, salads and deserts. I mean I love meat and salads but can I get some low carb side dishes other than salads. BUT, I can honestly say some of the dishes in this book can be easily used as sides, like the roasted brussel sprouts and bacon. Can't believe I just said that, brussel sprouts? In MY mouth? Who knew! Other than that it was super easy to read, easy to follow, the ingredients weren't ridiculously expensive once u got thru the initial investment( there were things I never used or bought and were fairly expensive like the himalayan salt, toasted sesame oils, coconut and almond flours, ghee etc) it tends to save u a bit of money because a lot of the recipes have some of the same ingredients. I've been able to build a list of different dinners and lunches for my husband (who I'm worried about being on Keto since he is a skinny man who in no way needs to lose weight). U really can't go wrong with this one Review: Perfect for single people! - I love this cookbook. I live alone and most recipes are for 2 people, so I can easily divide and have 2 meals. Recipes are easily doubled or tripled if I have a party, or go to a party. Get this book!

Nice and easy keto
Love the recipes but wish there were a lot more pictures. Another complaint I have is with the kindle format, the list of recipes are hard to read before each chapter because of the color choice. Still worth the purchase however! Enjoy!

Easy and Great for People Who Don't Like to Cook
I started my mother on keto. She is in her seventies and hates to cook. I bought her a Ninja Air Fryer and a Breville Convection Oven to get her off of convenience foods. She loves both items and they allow her to easily prepare whole foods. But, bacon and eggs, roast chicken or pork get dull after a while. I searched through a lot of keto books and landed on this one. Here is why: 1) This is written by a chef, not some YouTuber or influencer who is doing a print-on-demand book. 2) Five ingredients. My mother can handle that. 3) Whole foods. Many keto books are demanding you buy agar agar, xylitol, all kinds of expensive chemicals. Yes, she did get liquid stevia for this, but the recipes limit you to whole foods, which is important. 4) Macros listed. She can see how much protein, fat and carbs are in a recipe. She does live alone, so a recipe serving four does end up with a lot of leftovers, but this has worked out well and she loves many of the recipes. She finds them easy to follow. Win-win.

Decent guide, but not enough flavor
I have mixed feelings about this cookbook. I think the recipes have a lot of potential, but as is, they are bland. Many aren't seasoned with anything but salt and pepper. Even if you're putting some type of sauce on top after cooking, you need more than salt and pepper. Many recipes are high in calories, but they don't leave you feeling full. I think that's partially due to the lack of flavor. For me, flavorful food leaves me more satiated. But there's also a lot of oil and ghee/butter used in the cooking process, which adds calories and some fat, but didn't make me feel fuller. Also, a lot of the oil or ghee used during cooking isn't actually served with the food, so I'm not sure how accurate the nutrition info is. In the cheeseburger bacon casserole recipe, I don't think the protein count is correct. The whole recipe supposedly has 330 grams of protein. That seems way off. Maybe it's because an actual pound of bacon supposedly contains about 170 grams of protein. But a packaged pound is about 16-20 slices, with 3 grams of protein per slice. I can't imagine this recipe actually calls for two whole packs of bacon (about a pound after cooked), so I consider that an error in the calculations. Also, four eggs do NOT take 50 minutes to bake, which is listed as the cook time. Maybe the total includes the separate cooking of the bacon and ground beef, but that was unclear in the instructions. If you're looking for a general guide, this is a good book for you. If you're looking for exact recipes that are already flavored well and have accurate nutrition info, look elsewhere.

Easy, some pictures, and quick recipes
This book is wonderful. I have made 5 things from this book, and they have ALL been so good. Our favorite is the Root Beer Floats. This is a perfect starter Keto cook book for people that are learning how to dive into the Keto diet. I know a few of these recipes will be a staple in our keto diet every time we do it. The beginning of the book lets you know what essentials you should have in your pantry and what utensils too. ( I LOVED that about this book).

Quick, easy and tasty recipes. Ingredients easily sourced in Britian.
This book is brilliant and so useful. It features a really good selection of tasty recipes for all meals and occasions. By containing only 5 ingredients to a recipe - plus seasonings - they are so easy, quick and convenient to make. The author has been thoughtful enough to put a very useful measurement conversion at the back including cups, imperial and metric. She has also included the amount of carbs, fat, calories, fibre and protein for every recipe. The reviewers who think a lot of the ingredients cannot be obtained in Britain, either lead very sheltered lives, have not actually looked at the recipes or are making presumptions! A mere handful of ingredients were unfamiliar to me but it is usually obvious what they are or they can be found on the internet. Just one word of caution, in some recipes the amount of the carbs per portion are a very high if you are trying to keep to 20g of carbs a day. However, this is a really good recipe book whether you are following a keto diet or not. I recommend it.

Empfehlung!
