Great flavour , will buy again

I have just finished the jar I bought exactly one year ago. It keeps fantastically well in the fridge — even for a whole year, evidently! It’s a very useful ingredient in soups and base gravies to make curries.

It is very economical and quality is very good. Would recommend.

The flavour of this garlic and ginger paste is very good and as similar to the homemade version as a commercial product can be expected to be. It's great for South Asian cooking which is what i mainly use it for. As the jar is so large I divided the contents into smaller quantities and froze most of them.

I was getting fed up of making my own Ginger and Garlic paste for my curries and tried loads of brands but they all had a sour taste or had that not so Indian flavour, but this is excellent I have to say, add it to the base curry and the start of the cooking process and the curries taste fab

The jar arrived with a broken security seal i.e. the lid when pressed could be popped in and out. Smells pretty funky too so won't risk using it. Very disappointed that the item cannot be returned so a complete waste of money.
