The turner itself works great, even after modifications
I'm using this turner in a Zoo Med Reptibator for chicken eggs. Please note, it did not fit in the Reptibator upon arrival, despite the dimensions listed online for this turner and those of the Reptibator suggesting that it might. I had to use a dremel tool to shave the edges off the turner so that it would fit-- but keep in mind that this issue only arose because I was trying to use the turner in an incubator it wasn't made for. The turner itself works great, even after modifications. It's a little flimsy so handle with care, but that's just the way these gadgets have to be made to work. The motor is small and the directions warn against overfilling the egg trays and causing stress on the motor or else the motor will be ruined and the warranty voided. It makes me wonder just how many eggs this thing should handle. I've only incubated two clutches of 20 eggs so far so I've only really used half of the spaces. I'm not sure if filling every hole (except for the one closest to the motor, directions tell you not to use it) would cause stress on the motor, or if the eggs would need to all be jumbo to cause damage. In my case, it holds 20 extra-large eggs beautifully. My incubator humidity stays around 50-65% throughout the incubation period and this has yet to tamper with the machine. The turning process is slow, it makes a full revolution in four hours and it does this super slowly. As in, you can't sit and watch it turn the eggs. The movement is so slow it isn't really visible. Just check it every hour when you first set it up and you will see that it's definitely moving. Overall, great product. Here's to hoping it lasts a good long time.

Great egg turner. No more turning by hand!
Don't know why I didn't get this sooner! Makes hatching eggs sooo much easier. I'm using it with my Hovabator Genesis and it fits perfectly. I bought the quail rails and those are great too. I put turkey, chicken, and quail eggs. All fit good. Fyi... rotates very slowly.... to slow for the eyes to see. So if in doubt that yours is working check the position after 30 minutes or so. All in all I'm happy with this egg turner.

Little Giant Large Egg Turner
Received very quickly, no damage to egg turner during shipping. Just received it but fits in the little giant incubator perfectly and rotates as claimed to. Waiting to put some eggs in it and start hatching some chicks. Very. Good product sturdy and can take apart easy for cleaning.

I borrowed a friend's a while back and loved it so much I bought my own
The turner is in constant motion but turns so slowly it is indiscernible. Check every couple hours and you will see it has indeed changed position. I borrowed a friend's a while back and loved it so much I bought my own. I used hers as is for Quail eggs and it worked, although the eggs are very tiny in the cups it comes with as they are intended for chicken eggs. I picked up the quail rails for mine and it was easy to replace the chicken rails for quail rails. I have a new batch of eggs incubating now with my own turner. It sure beats turning by hand, which can be tragic if you forget...with this I have nothing to remember except to remove the turner for lock down!

Smells like cheap chinese plastic.....
It cam in TONS of packaging and it smelled really bad like cheap chinese plastic.......If I was the owner of the company I would put it through a big wash cycle to get rid of that smell before it gets to the person......it smells REALLY BAD! Other than that it looks pretty easy to use, except it doesn't tell you how big the egg has to be to fit it this without having to buy the QUAIL RAILS! So I am thinking about doing the smallest breed of chicken in the world but I don't know if the eggs will fit/fall through because the eggs are small....but I think I might cut the styrofoam cups out of the styrofoam egg carton and put them in side with a few TINY holes in the bottom to make sure the bottom of the egg doesn't go rotten.
