Hyper 622 Halo

I bought this for a family member's first DIY build. I have built many PCs but they had trouble with installing it as the first time. I will however say that they live in the hot desert of Arizona and have never had issues with temps. This thing is a beast for the price and you won't be disappointed. It looks great in an all-white build too. When I say desert, I mean deep desert, with virtually minimal shelter and no AC. I had my doubts but haven't had any issues yet.

No complaints, essy to install, quiet, and nice to look at. No performance issues after 2 years.

I'm a long time user of CoolerMaster CPU coolers, and generally I've been happy with them; this unit is no exception. For a Ryzen 5800X CPU, I get consistent idle temps of 35°C and stress temps of 55°C which is 10°-15° below the previous cooler I was using, so I'm quite happy with its performance. I'm not very interested in RGB, but the look is quite nice as well. That said, know that most CoolerMaster coolers are tedious to set the fans up for; the 622 addresses some of these issues but introduces others in the process. These fans have a small metal latch you can push out (as opposed to pulling in older models) from the heatsink, but there are no clearly indicated areas on the heatsink where you should place them. The only way to know for sure that both fans are at the same height on each side is to count how many layers are between the latch and one end of the heatsink. It's not a deal breaker for the overall quality, but it is tedious. Also, if you are using an AM4 socket, make sure you have the stock backplate or a replacement; since you can't change the backplate on AM5 sockets, the 622 does not come with a backplate for AM4 sockets.

Looks super cool on a white setup. And it cools good enough.

This thing is huge and amazing. The fans look better than any other fans I found. This thing is a unit and works great.

Just letting yall knows I'm a fan cooler master, my pc was like 10 years old today my cooler master liquid is dead the pumps not working makes some weird noise but I'm glad is last long for years, Now today I decided to get Hyper 622 Halo Black I know this going to keeps my cpu cooler for next few years! I love it 🥰

Packaging arrived damaged, 2" hole on the side. The cooler Master box seemed previously opened. There was a new sticker but scotch tape inside the box. The CPU contact had bubbles on it like it's been returned. Other parts haven't arrived yet to see if this is defective or damaged.

Works better than my AIO I had, great air cooler

This dual fan cooler works perfectly with my AMD Ryzen 9 CPU.

Got a ASUS TUF PC Case, fits the cooler but the fan sticks out a bit so closing the case leaves a gap. Overall cooling is good. Got a 5800x undervolted running at 4500. Temps at idle 47.4c with fans cranked to max.
