Steel Core Tyre Levers - Blue

Work where plastic levers fail to grip. Great craftsmanship. Good price. Added these to the tire kit and already I am happy for doing so. Had a stubborn tire that plastic wouldn't cut it and the Tire Monkey simply wouldn't grap the bead to remove the tire. These Park Tool levers dug in and grabbed the bead with very little effort without damage to the rim where the cheap metal spoons fail miserably! Compact enough to throw in the bag to carry with you.

Gentle on wheels but tough enough to get a tire off of it. (Used on a onewheel tire) this would be great for any small tire use from bicycle up to go cart.

A little thick but very strong and scratch resistant. Much better for tubeless because they don't break like plastic levers. Quality product! I have 3 sets.

Extremely tough. The texture of the plastic exterior helps them slide a *little* easier and I can feel a difference in slipperiness compared to the Pedros I was using that snapped. They don't have a spoke-hook though. If you're tired of the plastic tire levers snapping while trying to get a difficult bead over the lip of the rim, then you won't mind the extra weight of these in your saddle bag

I've had the cheap plastic ones, and these metal ones are just far superior in every way. They're way more expensive, but you're getting a better value after having had two of the cheap plastic ones break on me.

I bought these after buying the Park Tools TL 5 heavy duty levers a while back. The TL 5 are big, long and heavy. I bought them because of snapping the plastic ones. These however are a better compromise being metal and having a plastic coating and being much smaller and lighter. The biggest help is by improving you technique in removing tyres. Plenty of videos on youtube. It's often overlooked to complete de-bead your tyre creating enough slack and pushing both side of the rims into the centre. Getting the tyre on is much easier.

It works great and made putting the rubber on super easy but it completely destroys the paint on rims while doing so. So if you dont mind that than it would be 5 stars but I did 4 because of this.

Having broken two sets of plastic only levers these steel core levers did the job perfectly! No hesitation in giving the full 5 stars.
