We live a short distance from a water pumping station and sometimes especially in the morning if you make a hot drink using unfiltered water it tastes absolutely disgusting and nobody wants to drink it, not a good start to the day! Using these water filters ensures we get great tasting drinks every time and definitely improves the quality of the water. The filters are easy to use and long lasting. The filter jug fits nicely in my fridge providing a constant supply of decent water. We have tried cheaper cartridges but they are not nearly so good as Brita cartridges so now only buy Brita cartridges and recycle them once used which is much better for the environment than buying bottled water. Brita definitely are the best.

Real-World Testing I followed the simple 5-step process exactly as instructed: 1. I removed my old filter and disposed of it 2. I thoroughly cleaned my jug 3. I submerged the new PRO filter in cold water 4. I inserted it firmly into the jug's filter slot 5. I pressed the reset button on my jug lid for 5 seconds The difference in water taste was immediately noticeable - much cleaner and fresher than both tap water and the previous filter I was using. I've been using it a lot, and the quality has remained consistent. Pros and Cons What I Love: • I can taste a significant improvement in water quality • I'm saving money compared to bottled water • I appreciate the increased filtering capacity • I like the environmental improvements in the materials • I find the 6-pack offers great value What Could Be Better: • I wish BRITA would improve their outer packaging to prevent damage during shipping • I noticed the indicator on my jug doesn't seem calibrated for the longer-lasting PRO filters Value for Money Compared to competitors like ZeroWater and PUR, I find BRITA offers the best balance of price and performance. While ZeroWater might remove slightly more contaminants, their filters cost significantly more and need replacing much more frequently. PUR filters are comparably priced but don't seem to last as long in my experience. When considering the improved capacity of these PRO filters, BRITA pulls ahead even further in value. Tips for Other Buyers I'd recommend rinsing the filter thoroughly before first use - I run it under cold water for about 30 seconds. Also, make sure you press the reset button when changing filters, or the indicator won't accurately track filter life. If you have particularly hard water, you might want to consider their specific Limescale Expert version instead.

Extremely easy to use and change the filter over in the jug. Fits perfectly in most standard size water jugs and filters quickly too. Has a nice clear look/taste to it also!

Been using Brita for a long time and these filters are very consistent. The water tastes noticeably better and cleaner. Easy to install and use. Definitely worth it for everyday use.

Superb value for money. Detailed guidance is provided on how to change the filter once the red light is displayed on the water jug. For the low cost per month that each filter lasts it is certainly good value for money.
