A competent Itx candidate with minor drawbacks.
Ok... Minor issue time, of 7 of these total ordered and installed 1 had a screw post break and one had a screw post bend. Same torque on all of the coolers, same tools, the cooler itself is fantastic and almost on par with a 280mm aio if you have proper air flow. Fitting snug in both atx and itx builds. Installation is incredibly straight forward, mounting is a little rough but on par with thermalright, and frankly the cooler looks cool and premium in general compared to standard tower coolers. noise level is a mixed bag, some units seem to come with a fan that has a very slight wobble that is audible straight off but generally within expectations for a dual fan tower if slightly quieter on lower speeds.

I promise this wont fit your case.
This thing is great, the mounting directions suck, but the performance and cost more than justify this cooler. I used this in a server rack case and had to cut the case above the motherboard IO faceplate. A bit of rubber around the cut and it's right as rain. Does it look weird? Yes. Does it provide massive cooling? Also yes. This thing is great for my game server, and the low maintenance, low profile, and high performance can't be beat. I have been using this for about 6 months and it is my favorite solution for a 4U server rack mounted pc.

More options for mounting.
What I don't think most people know about this cooler is that it can also be mounted vertically if you have the right motherboard to do it. It also has standard 120mm fans which can be changed out for any other 120mm fan you want to make it perform even better and have different color combinations.

And the most interesting CPU cooler award goes too…
Wildly interesting form factor. Wish it had fit in the case I wanted to use it in but this this is definitely thinking outside the box. Good temps but triple check your measurements.

it works and is big.
It works, it keeps my intel i7 265k at 37° on idle with no problems and for the price is just a good deal. Do pay attention to the size as I had to remove the back fan from my case because it wouldn't fit otherwise. if you want the back fan on your case do get the smallest fan you can find.

Killed my pc
To put simply. My computer is now dead. Yes I followed the instructions, yes I removed the film from the contact plate. Yes, I'm now depressed because my 1200 dollar pc is dead and now I have NOTHING to look forward to after my 10 hour shifts at work. And no, I can't afford to just replace my pc.

Really good air cooler, just swap the fans out.
I have been using this cooler for over a year, and I have no problems with it. I have in a micro ATX Thermaltake Tower 300. While it does take up a lot of space, I really like the look of it, It makes my PC stand out from all of the AIO and regular air-cooled PCs. It keeps my 5800x at 38C while idle and in the longest of gaming sessions it never goes above 75C. I have also swapped the fans out to give a better look from the cheap fans that are included. Overall, I would recommend this cooler.

Excellent cooling, very quiet.
One of the best CPU coolers I've ever bought. It is much shorter than the Noctua 15 which would not fit in my Hyte Y70 case. I thought having only two fans would be an issue, but it cools just as well. I would recommend this fan to any serious PC builder.

Katastrophe
