Very useful jig. Good built, solid parts, and I have had it for a while and I haven't seen any wear and tear. It is accurate, and easy to use. If you have any problem operating it - because it is multi-functioned, just check YouTube for videos. you can use it to get accurate placement for holes both face and end grain. It is a great size for handling and it is worth every dollar spent on it.

There are other similar products but this is different and stands out. If you are just looking for center alignment this is not right but what is the user of center aligning when you can't make repeatable holes on multiple wood pieces and corresponding dowels on face plate. I have used two other different products and no where close to this in terms of precision. Looking for better jig for long to make closets and drawers. Some reviewer point to alignment but that's not really issue with this tool. If you are really upto dowels means you can adjust it and no other tool is close to this. Again this is NOT self centering tool, but once you get it center aligned you keep going both on edge and face plate without struggling how to get dowel holes on face plate. The main benefit is, you can make dowel holes on both faceplate and the edge piece. Look no further. Build quality is excellent. Update: After using for few months, I make cam screw holes with breeze. Now I make all my boxes with cam lock fasteners with help of this tool. Other thing you don't really need to be center aligned if you are using this tool. Also for edge alignment stopper is bonus and never really need to measure Update2: I didn't get 1/4" guide bushes with this tool, though it is not show stopper for me. But it should have been included. Sure will buy another set if they give these additional guide bushes

The directions are very good, but would be a lot better if written on a standard size paper that could be read without a magnifying glass. But explicit and accurate. The only thing that would really make this tool perfect would be a laser engraved line down the middle of the top and sides to see that the jig was directly on the drawn line on the wood. Drill bits are good- Collars are good. Easy to use

I needed to -- well, wanted to -- make a bed frame for my grandson... and most of my work is a bit more simple, but this one required actual furniture-building skills. Totally love this jig. I have now finished building the bed frame -- and all 60 or so drillings and dowels work and align perfectly.

I finally had the opportunity to use this tool and was completely satisfied with the ease of use and accuracy. Having metal guides makes all the difference when drilling dowel holes.

I loved this jig for the price. It is versatile enough to drill all the holes for an ikea-style cam lock joint. I also used it to make doweled butt joints. It includes 4 drill-bits and depth collars for each. I used it with 3/4” particleboard and 5/16” dowel pins. It is pretty easy to adjust the center for different thicknesses of material as long as they are close. The only part that is not adjustable is the setback of the cam nut: i needed to buy 15x16mm cam locks with a matching 45mm dowel pin. These were easy to find at the hardware store or online.
