Wenn man auf das Mikrofon vom Originalkabel verzichten kann bekommen man ein super Ersatzkabel. Wirkt sehr hochwertig und ich bemerke keinen negativen Einfluss auf die Tonqualität.

My original Bose AE2 cord was totally fried! I plugged it into a new MP3 player and the voices didnt come through anymore. Only the background instruments. So i needed a new cord. I was worried considering how old the AE2 headphones are now. But this cord was easy to find and affordable. It feels slightly different when you plug it into the headphone part. It kinda feels like you have to push it in harder. You dont. Dont do that. It fits, It stays in place, It works. Cord itself feels nice too, good thickness, and its not braided which is good. It sounds good. I can't compare it to the original out of box experience because that was a really long time ago, but this sounds great to me. No crackling, no scraping or swishing. Nice clear sound. Really happy.
