Wild Bird Bird Feeding Station with Leaves in Brown Hammertone

This bird feeding station is excellent and very good value. The sturdy components arrived very well and securely packed and assembly was so simple. The bronzed finish is very attractive and over the last month it has stood up to all that the British climate could throw at it without any sign of deterioration ( which is more than can be said of previous Gardman feeding stations that I have had). Perhaps the total height is slightly shorter than some other models when sited in the ground but I use a parasol base instead so don’t lose any of the 2m height. The ‘branches’ of the feeder can be fitted/arranged as preferred which is another bonus. All in all I am really delighted with this purchase.

I bought this as I wanted something different to the standard birdfeeders you can get with no character. This has a lovely unique design. I* was worried the leaves would be sharp for the birds to stand on but all the birds love it and stand on the top fine. Having 8 hangers is brilliant I can cover all types of bird feed this way. I do not use it on the ground but have attached it to a wired fence with duct tape. Its very sturdy and has with stood gale force winds with no movement. Very pleased over all with the product and the communications from the seller. Thanks

When purchasing this station, I was aware that other reviewers had complained about the wingnuts being stuck and so on. Mine had a couple of stiff wing nuts but these were easily moved using an adjustable spanner. I then greased the threads with vaseline to prevent them later rusting up.To make the station more stable and keep it upright, I used with it with a Crystals base, also purchased from Amazon. Having greased the ground spike with vaseline, I pushed the bottom pole into the ground, then placing a scrap of timber over the top so as not to deform it, I hammered the spike in a way with a mallet. Every few taps I checked it was vertical with a spirit level, pulling it into line as necessary. When I was happy that the spike was far enough in, I put the two sections of the Crystals base over the top of the bottom pole. I then assembled the rest of the station as per the instructions included, greasing the male part of each pole before fitting it into the female part.Overall the station stands about 5' 3" high. I decided that having the lower two branches on the middle pole, as advised by the instructions, put them too close to the ground, so I loosened the wing nuts and moved them up to the top pole, beneath the top two.To achieve a less formal look, I staggered the angles on the branches round the pole at random angles, and hung an odd number of feeders from the station. The station has eight hooks but I think that eight feeders would be overcrowded.I am pleased with the final effect, as pictured. The garden birds are beginning to visit, less than 24 hours after the station was set up.

This is such a lovely bird station and the birds love it. Very easy to assemble and the decorative leaves put that finishing touch. The bird on top is so life like. Very pleased 😊🐦

When delivered, the bird at the top of the centre pole had broken off in transit. There's no where to contact the seller, so disappointed and to be honest the feeding station is very flimsy. Looks nice but very flimsy, can't see it lasting very long at all. Such a shame as like I said it looks nice.

This is a great bird feeder and the squirrels can’t get to the food.

Best pole I have ordered so far

Smaller than expected, but that was due to me not reading the description. Would say this is about 4foot once inserted in to the ground, was thinking it would be like others I saw at around 6 or 7ft.Seems relatively sturdy, although I'm not sure how long it will last as a slight nudge of a leaf, and it moves. Looks amazing though and well worth the money. I'm thinking of sinking mine in to a bit of cement, as I live in a very windy place.

Es un gozo ver a los pajarillos silvestres venir a alimentarse en esta estación. Queda muy bonito en el jardín y es sumamente facil de montar.
