This is my 2nd Billconch gun safe. I purchased this bigger one for my ammunition, it is extremely easy to set up I would say about 20 minutes if you aren't that great with following instructions. Since it was my second purchase I set it up in about 5 minutes. I did purchase due to the fireproof factor, just in case there is a fire (God forbid) the ammo won't go off and possibly hurt anyone. You can open it three ways, numeric code, fingerprints, and via a key as an emergency and for initial set up. It's recommended to keep these keys hidden to avoid anyone else from accessing the contents. It's taller and wider than the flatter gun safe that I purchased but also fits a lot more i.e. passports and other important documentation. Due to the fireproof nature the safe is much heavier, aesthetically appealing and it's made of quality materials. Inside you can use the back pins to hold up to 4 guns, since I do use it only for ammo I placed them flat against the back of the safe to expand the area. There are also bolts provided so you may attach it to the studs within a wall for greater security. I'm currently just placing it in a closet since I rent. Great products, great quality, and highly recommend.

I needed a small safe for my EDCs, rather than keep them up in my secure location upstairs, where it takes longer to access. This Billconch Smart Safe fits the bill perfectly. . Overall quality is very good and it has several useful features. It's not fireproof nor waterproof but stores EDCs safely for everyday access. While the sides are relatively thin steel, it is thick enough to not deflect when pushed yet can be carried easily at about 20lbs empty. . This will easily accommodate 6 carry guns, like a Girsan MPC35 PI, SA Ronin EMP, and a Shield Plus with red dot and the upper removable steel shelf will store the Kydex holsters or ammo. The safe is fully lined with the typical fiber material found in gun safes. . I put heat shrink tubing over the pins to protect the barrel, with it long enough to shrink over the rounded ends of the pin. The pin angle is slightly too shallow for full length pistol grips. So, the pin goes into the barrel but binds if the gun is perfectly vertical. The grip can be shifted over to one side to fully insert the pin if that is your desire. I keep all mine vertical. . The fingerprint and combination 6-digit number code are easy to use and the fingerprint sensor seems to work very well. I have several set up for my hands and my wife's. No issues after a few days. I don't use the associated app as it's Bluetooth, limited in range, and the app is not password-protected. Don't lose the two supplied keys! They are unique to the safe and can't be replaced. . The small LED illuminating the inside when the door opens is very useful, and it turns off if the door is left open for too long. 4 AA batteries is all the safe needs. The battery cover has a tab to hold it in place, plus a small screw. An appropriate screwdriver is also supplied. . I really appreciate the female voice prompt, rather than relying on beeps. Programming the unit is straightforward, if you are at all tech savvy. I fastened my safe to the wall, using the supplied holes in the backplate, with the safe sitting on a shelf for support. . I bought this safe when it was on sale but I'd buy it at full price if I needed a second one. It's well worth the money.

This safe is awesome. I only just got it, so time will tell the true tale, but right out of the box it works perfectly. It looks great and there are so many means of access. You can program multiple fingerprints and it responds almost instantly to a fingerprint read as long as it reads properly. I recommend rolling your fingers slightly when entering a fingerprint to ensure it captures your whole print which makes it easier and more consistent with the reads. There is a master app that you can control all aspects of the safe through and even unlock the safe with! The door light is just a little LED that shines into the safe, it won't blind you if the lights are off. It comes with two solid bolts to anchor into the wall. The ONLY gripe I have with this is the pistol anchors. While they're made of metal and are very stable, I would rather have them made of silicone or plastic so they won't risk damaging the barrel of the pistol.

There wasn't specific measurement details so most importantly for the 1 cubic ft. size, the internal dimensions are shown in the pics (approx. 11.5in x 11.5in x 10in) BUT keep in mind the opening of the doorway is smaller so if u are trying to fit something that doesn't bend, u have to take the more narrow opening into consideration. I have a chromebook in the safe in the pics and it's exactly 11.5in wide (11.5inx8.5in) so it JUST fits from back to front w/ the pistol holders unscrewed (the black plastic holders up against the back wall stick out about ½in so it JUST fits as u can see from the pics. Even tho the inside is about 11.5in left to right, the door opening is only about 10in so it wouldn't fit in sideways. The door only opens 90 degrees so the opening is more narrow. It's definitely spacious inside and suits my needs. The weight of it I would guess is around 25-28lbs, sturdy feeling, definitely not flimsy or cheap. The inside is lined w/ felt and the shelf is sturdy. The light is just enough and a nice feature. It comes with the keys in the packing foam, thats wrapped around the door. The rest of the items are locked inside: manuals (product guide & bluetooth/app guide), batteries, USB plug, mini screwdriver, extra screw, hardware to bolt safe down. The set up was very easy, manuals are very thorough, keypad menus are simple & voice guide is nice, I encountered no issues. The multiple unlock options are great (keys, fingerprints, passcode, app) plus having the USB plug for backup in the case the batteries die is a bonus. The keypad is great quality...the keys are soft touch rubber, very responsive, and having them back-lit is very helpful. The LCD screen is lit up, easy to read, w/ the date and time stamp as its default screen, and simple settings menus. I like that the keys don't beep but have a nice soft "water droplet" sound effect when pushed. The voice guide is simple & effective, not too loud, and gives it a sophisticated feel. It's also nice that it does have "silent mode" as an option. The fingerprint screen is large enough to capture ur fingerprint w/o any issues. It responds quickly (faster than inputting a 6 digit code & enter button) and gives a voice confirmation, as well as green or red light, which is nice if u prefer silent mode. I like that the keyhole is hidden behind a rubber tab that's attached, as I've seen on some others it's a removable plastic piece that ends up getting lost. I also like that theres no knob to turn, when the door unlocks, u just pull it open w/ the built-in "handle" under the keypad (there's an indented space to pull the door open). Another nice feature, that was not noted in the description, and I asked but was given incorrect information by another customer, is there IS the option of auto-lock OR manual lock. The default is manual lock, where u have to hold the "lock" button down for 2-3sec on the keypad after closing the door. The auto-lock can be enabled in the settings menu and the door automatically locks for u after its closed. I prefer the auto-lock function. The app is very basic and really only serves to unlock the safe thru the "unlock" button in the app, view battery level, and unlock history. The rest of the "settings" are the same as the keypad and to enter the settings section on the app, u have to be near the safe to input ur fingerprint or passcode into the keypad on the safe, so it's kind of pointless that aspect of it. It would be nice if the app would use ur devices biometrics settings. It would be nice if the app added more features such as push notifications for low battery, if someone is attempting to open the safe (incorrect entries) or someone does open the safe, the ability to activate silent mode, maybe different sounds, etc. But it does have what's needed at least, which is more than many others, and it's nice to have the additional method of unlocking, battery status and unlock history, which is super important. Overall, it's definitely high quality and I'm very happy with my decision. I did get it on sale during Prime day so I got a great deal on the price but even if I had paid full price I would say it was well worth it. I highly recommend it.

I tried two other safes, one from BARSKA and one from Viking, before this one, and returned both because this was clearly the best one. BARSKA safe lacked other viable options for opening aside from fingerprint, so if the fingerprint reader doesn't work for some reason, the only other option is to use an allen wrench and the key to get in. The safe also felt very lacking in terms of build quality, basically looked like the thing was tack welded together. Viking safe was actually pretty nice in terms of quality, but I ran into issues trying to get the battery cover off for the LED light. Customer service didn't respond for two days so I returned it via Amazon. This safe is actually cheaper than both of the other ones I tried, and it has so many more features in comparison that it is a no-brainer. While it is not perfect, I can absolutely say that this is the best gun safe option within this price range. Pros: - Fingerprint reader does not require any additional input or button to enable the scanner. Simply place your finger on the scanner and the safe opens for quick access when needed. The scanner itself is pretty good, and supposedly learns your fingerprints the more you use them. Very cool feature! - Phone app is very simple to use, and serves as a great way to check on the batteries. There is an option that you can enable on the app (Connection password switch) which makes you enter the password each time you connect to the safe via bluetooth. Enabling this is VITAL if you are trying to keep your firearms away from children, because if it is not enabled the safe can be opened WITHOUT A PASSWORD by anybody who has access to your phone. In my opinion, this should be enabled by default on the app. - Love the admin/user password feature so that only those with admin password/fingerprint can make changes to the safe. Users can open the safe, but cannot make any changes like adding fingerprints, changing passwords, etc. - I really like the idea of the barrel bars to make the gun easy to grab in a situation where it is needed. I plan on keeping my safe in the top of a closet, so this reduces the need to fumble around trying to blindly find the gun handle. Interior light adds to the benefit here for me. The only downside is that the bars are metal, and I feel like they would scratch the inside of the gun barrel. To remedy this, I followed what some other reviewers did and used shrink wrap to cover the metal. Would be nice if the safe came with some rubber covers for them though. - Fully carpeted interior makes the safe feel high quality compared to some others at its price range. Overall build quality feels very good and very sturdy. Cons: - As mentioned above, I feel that the Connection password switch on the phone app should be enabled by default to err on the side of child safety. - Also mentioned above, it would be nice if the barrel bars came with some rubber covers. - The safe is not water/fire proof. Should be safe for firearms and ammo as long as you don't keep the gun chambered, but I would spend up for a fireproof safe if I needed to store documents or valuables. - While the build quality is good, this safe is definitely not uncrackable. If somebody really wants to get into this safe, they will be able to do it with the right tools.

Very solid safe for the money and a great value.(I tried to post a bunch of pics for you guys to see everyting). You can open it with a key, pin number or a fingerprint. The fingerprint function works very reliably which is nice and rarely do I have to do it twice it usually it works on first try but I am sure the times I have to do it twice its because of my finger placement. It has a nice screen that shows you information like the time function battery level etc.. Not many other safes in this price range have an actual screen like this so that's pretty awesome. It has a removable shelf, interior light and it has a voice that tells you what's happening. Like safe closed, safe open etc.. Also the Phone app works great! It is super fast and simple to use to open the safe and I had no problem pairing or setting it up. It has 2 mounting holes in the back to screw or bolt it to a wall. They include 2 large anchor screws as well as 2 short bolts that are only long enough to mount it to sheet metal maybe about 1/4" thick MAX. If you need something more you can just use any nuts bolts or screws for your specific application. The safe includes 4 piston pin type mounts ( see pics) they are removable if you dont need them. All in all im very happy with the safe. It is well built for a safe in this price range and the features and reliability are top class. You can get this safe and feel confident it will work and open when you need it to which is important to all of us.

I've had this safe for about 1.5 years already. Nice capacity. Fingerprint reader works great, very fast. I haven't replaced the batteries at all in the time I've had it, it still reads as full battery. No issues at all, I was expecting the fingerprint reader to be meh. But it works perfectly. Gonna buy another in the future. You get a lot for the price. My room is pretty humid sometimes, but there's no sign of rust or problems with the electronics. I mounted mine to the wall and it comes with a wall mount guide that makes drilling the holes accurately very easy to do.
