Easy to set code and heavy duty.

Perfect lock for many applications. I have it on an outdoor shed and so far so good. Easy to set the user code and operates smoothly. Has been exposed to elements for close to a year now and still works smoothly with no rust or difficulty in opening. Probably not gonna keep out any hard core pro thief, but for the cost and my purposes, it's a good buy.

The padlock seems to be pretty durable with hardened steel shackle and solid lockup when the hasp is closed. As much as pro as a con, the padlock is so thick that it may not fit all locks or smaller chain link openings. This I would say is a good thing since in those cases, the actual loop its locked onto would be your weakest link, not this lock. The worst thing about this is that the tumblers are very difficult to see in daylight because of the reflection and glare from the nickel colored textured floor plate. As long as you can get the angle right, its not so bad. I would think that it if the metal weathers or becomes dirty, will get easier to read since it'll be less shiny. Time will tell. Also, since the combination is easily changed when you close the hasp, in the open position, you do not want to accidentally have the hasp pushed in and roll any of the tumblers. If you were not paying attention to what the numbers are when you raised the hasp up and spun the dials, then you could potentially have to figure out what it was (10,000 possible combinations).

These are great heavy-duty locks at a great price. It was easy to change the combination to a number I wanted to designate for them. I had no problems operating these locks, even being stored at -5 degree temperatures out in the snow.

After 16 months, the lock failed. The pins inside must have come off of the combination and the lock couldn't be opened. I tried every suggestion mentioned on ChatGPT to no avail. I had to have a handyman come cut it off. The cost for him to cut it off for me was as much as the lock itself. I'm not thrilled with the durability. I have had a competitive lock on another part of the property for 2x as long as this one and have no issues with it. Unfortunately, there is no warranty at this point so it's disappointing. You get what you pay for.

Sometimes gets stuck.

Easy to lock and unlock. I like not having to find a key or worry about forgetting to bring the key. The only issue I have is that after you unlock it, it won't let you move the numbers off of the dial. It makes it easy to relock it, but it also makes it easy for someone to see your code and be able to get it open later.

Seems like a good lock but iv not exactly tried to brake it came with no instructions but luckily Amazon had a picture of how to set it to new code was simple to do just hope nobody accidentally resets the code tho
