1889-1 coaster, 1.44 MB floppy disk, 4x black

These are awesome! As coasters they're practical, very easy to clean, non slip and heat resistant. As floppy coasters they're the best I've found. The size is accurate and they're printed on both sides. If I had to pick fault I'd say it's a shame they're not coloured on the edge too, where the metal cover wraps around the top, but that's really a minor niggle and not worth dropping a star for. This is a brilliant product which looks awesome on my desk alongside more contemporary tech. An excellent gift for the geek in your life :)

Pretty darn good. Look just like the real thing, but far better for resting my coffee mug, plus far less chance of data corruption. I just wish they'd also make an 8" version to take my plate of donuts...

I was surprised that when turned over it even had the back in detail! The circular part on the back has groves etched into it. It has a soft floppy feel to it as well that you can play about with when bored (I took mine to work). Can't rate it enough.

Good, well made product. Looks like the real thing. The writing on the coaster was unnecessary.

Had these for around a year now, and they're just brilliant. They're exactly the same as an old 3.5" HD floppy disk, down to every bump, grove, and hole. The only difference is that these floppy disks are actually floppy, not hard like real 3.5" floppy disks. There's a certain irony there! They have a slight rubbery feel to them, as you would expect silicone to. This means they stay in place, even on glass tables, and your drink will stay in place on the coaster too. Being silicone, it's heat resistant and can be used as a heat resistant mat for items with small bases that come out of the oven. It's also dishwashable, and hard wearing. Even after a year of serious use, these are as good as new. Objects left within reach of a baby or toddler (this includes coasters on your coffee table), will almost always end up being chewed. These make brilliant teethers, as they're safe, non-toxic, dishwashable (or even steam steriliser them if you want), and won't break or have bits fall off. PLEASE NOTE: That nowhere does the manufacturer claim that you can use these as heat resistant mats, or that they're safe to use as a teether, I'm just saying that given they're made from silicone they almost certainly are, and they have worked well for us in those roles.

Product looks to be decent quality and is as advertised, but I cannot vouch for its effectiveness as I bought this as a gift and left the item in its original packaging. Arrived promptly, but the clear plastic packaging was a bit scuffed and scratched making the item appear old or even second-hand. For a new product and gift, I would hope for slightly better care during storage. If your buying for yourself- the packaging is irrelevant. This just looked a bit shoddy!

Bought these as a gift for my software engineer Dad. He loved the fact that they are actually floppy! And the material they are made of makes them easy to clean

Brilliant novelty coasters brought to use in living room as didn't want plain boring coasters, made from rubber and dish washer safe, would recommend and but again.

Das Motiv der Untersetzer mag zwar Geschmackssache sein, die Verarbeitung ist jedoch einwandfrei. Die Untersetzer sind nicht einfach nur mit dem Bild bedruckt, sondern sind wohl auch in Form gegossen. Abgesehen davon dass das Ganze etwas labbriger ist als eine echte Diskette (ist ja aus Silikon) fühlt sich das von den Erhebungen aber genauso an. Das Ganze ist so gut, dass alle Leute erst mal glauben die Diskette wäre echt und zur Überprüfung das Ganze in die Finger nehmen müssen. Sie sehen nur alle zu gleich aus. Aber keine Angst, die Getränke stehen darauf Bombenfest, da kippelt nix. Und da die Untersetzer aus Silikon sind, sind sie auch sehr pflegeleicht. Man kann sie ganz einfach abwischen und weiter benutzen.

Absolut fairer Preis für ein toll verarbeitetes Produkt. Originalgetreu und sogar in Form gegossen, nicht einfach nur aufgedruckt. Viele müssen es erst in die Hand nehmen, um zu sehen, dass es keine echten Disketten sind. Nichts klappert, wackelt, rutscht. Optisch und funktionstechnisch ein Highlight. Lassen sich einfach abwaschen und machen auf unseren Schreibtischen im Büro einiges her! 5 Sterne!

Die Dinger sehen auf den ersten Blick täuschend echt aus, es fehlen eigentlich nur kleine Details: Die Aussparung auf der Metallschiene müsste innen tiefer sein und hinten sind in der Mitte die "Löcher" für den Drehmotor des Laufwerkes nur gemalt. Ansonsten sind sie wirklich so gemacht wie echte Disketten, mit allen Löchern und Einkerbungen. So kam es, dass im Büro wirklich jeder Kollege erst verwundert schaute, warum ich da eine Diskette habe, und dann überrascht war, als sie wabbelte :). Außer als Untersetzer dient er (der Rest ist in der Schublade als Ersatz) als "Knet- und Fummelspielzeug" und hat bisher inklusive einem "Reißtest" alles überstanden. Ich hätte nicht erwartet, dass die so robust sind. Da kann man echt nicht meckern.
