Good mic for gaming and streaming works on PS5 great
Great microphone for gaming and streaming!I bought the MAONO boom microphone for gaming and voice chat, and I’m really impressed with the quality for the price. The microphone sounds clear, picks up my voice well, and is a huge upgrade compared to a normal headset mic. The boom arm is strong, adjustable, and makes it easy to position the mic exactly where I need it. Setup was quick and simple, and it looks great on my desk.

Zero Complaints, Just Plug It In and Go 🎤
Honestly, I have zero complaints about this microphone. It was easy to set up, the sound quality is clear, and the background noise reduction does a great job. The boom arm feels sturdy, the RGB lighting is a fun bonus, and having the tap-to-mute button is super convenient. Everything worked exactly as expected right out of the box, which doesn't always happen with tech. If you're looking for a solid mic for gaming, streaming, Discord, or content creation, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Great Sound Quality and Perfect for Gaming Setups
This microphone is really impressive for the price. The sound quality is clear, voices come through crisp, and the noise cancellation helps reduce background noise while gaming or recording.I also love the RGB lighting and boom arm setup because it makes the whole desk look more professional and aesthetic. The mute button, gain control, and monitoring features are easy to use and super convenient while streaming or chatting on Discord.Setup was simple and it worked quickly with my computer. Overall, it’s a great microphone for gaming, streaming, content creation, or everyday use!

Great sound and a solid arm, just watch the mute button
Six months in and this mic has been solid. Sound quality is genuinely impressive for the price, comes through clear without sounding thin or tinny, good for gaming, calls, and streaming alike. The included arm is a big plus. Easy to adjust, holds position without drooping, and saves you from buying a separate boom arm.Tap-to-mute is the one weak spot. It's a little finicky, sometimes takes an extra tap or a firmer press to register, so you can't always trust it at a glance mid-call. Everything else, though, the RGB, the gain control, the general build, has held up well over six months of regular use.Solid mic overall if you want good sound and a working arm without spending a ton, just don't rely on the mute button being instant.

Amazing mic definitely beginner friendly!
I usually don’t do reviews myself for products I buy off of Amazon but this microphone is actually so good. This is my first proper microphone and is so much better than my old headset I would use that had a mic. My friends noticed how good it sounds on calls way better than what I had so I’m very happy with it definitely worth my money and very beginner friendly I will say. It holds on well on my desk so no problems with the mounting or anything of the sorts like that so definitely no worries you should have there so overall a good microphone to get. Also I would send pictures if I wasn’t so lazy but could just scroll through reviews to get a idea how it will look for yourself but it’s cute in my opinion and I haven’t had any regrets with how it looks or sounds so do consider getting this mic 😋

Peak mic
Really good mic, heard that it’s good for asmr if you’re wanting to do that, very clear audio, has an adjuster to volume on the mic as well as a 3.5 mm jack port for a headset plug in if you can’t do bluetooth headset, has a great arm extender and have been using it daily and can change the color on the mic

Good for the price with some minor caveats.
I previously had a review critiquing it because it broke. I was able to fix it and it works fine. The audio jack on the microphone isn't the best. Perhaps that's the draw back of a more affordable mic. Others it works great. I use it for work and co-workers always comments on the clarity of my voice. It does feel a little flimsy when adjusting it but I don't need to move it too much so I'm fine with it. Good for the price and amateur streamers and aspiring podcasters. Maybe not the best for more advanced use cases. The product itself is 4/5 but the support team is awesome. They reached out to me when they saw my initial negative reviews. It was able to fix the issue on my own but they were gracious and eager to make things right so that deserves a 5/5. Whoever reached out to my on MAONO's support team is 5 star awesome!

USB-A or USB-C, Great sound
Excellent sound, volume level adjustable. Easy to use, but instructions could have been better - the buttons on top mutes sound and also affects the colors.Directionality works reasonably well - sensitivity it will pick up things in the other room.Cable quality is good, however don't plug it into a hub - that will cause noise to get in. Keep it on an isolated USB port.

Wonderfully pink with RGB
I got the Pink version of this for my wife and she adores it. There are a few issues that you can work around but nothing major. The first is the microphone itself, it has a USB port on the backside where it connects to the arm. It does mean that depending what side you initially turn the mic to, it won't be able to be turned the other way. For most gamers and streamers this won't be an issue but it's worth noting if you do plan on moving it more then 180 degrees left and right, that said it is standard USB-C so you can get a angled USB cable and just replace it and the problem would be solved. The next issue, is more of a preference, we ended up using Velcro straps to secure the USB cable to the arm, itself, and that stopped the sound of the cable being knocked from being added to sound recordings, but you can just use zip ties if you wanted; anything really just to stop the cable from moving and keeping it out of the way.Other than that, it sounds really good. We used the Nvidia broadcast studio and their own noise cancelling software (one click solution) and they both worked as good as each other, a lot better than discords default noise cancelling. On the base there is a rotating dial for mic gain, it works pretty well even for soft spoken people like my wife. The arm isn't overly long, so it's very easy to put away but we have it set up on the side of the desk rather than above or from the back. Your setup might need tweaking if you want the most from it like that.On top you have a couple of buttons, one for mute, one to change the RGB settings. You can cycle the colours by tapping the button, have it smooth cycle for you. It looks very good in low light settings. The mic does like to have sound from the front of it, and the pop filter works but isn't amazing. With the mic gain up, you can still hear some of them but for general chatting it's pretty good. It can be removed if you don't want it at all.Plug and play on Windows 11.Overall, super we're both very happy with it.
