NEEWER Metal Phone Tripod Mount Adapter with Arca QR Base, Cold Shoe

As soon as you pull it out of the box, feel it, twist one knob or swivel one part - you know this thing is WELL MADE. I was giddy after playing with it for 10 seconds - not the first time I’ve uttered those words. Surely there is a German behind this quality of build? I don’t know… but more than just “every part moves as it should”, it moves better than it should. It’s metal, has some light weight to it and is perfectly engineered. They even have two size of tripod holes on the mounting plate. Kudos to whomever designed this! Thank you! Would absolutely buy this again! Going to Scotland in a month and this is perfect!

I'm building a solid, rugged mount for my car using this mount and I have to say, I'm very impressed by the build quality of this item. It seems to hold my phone very stable, and has tons of adjustment which is perfect for finding the right angle. Each knob is clearly labeled and I had no trouble figuring out how to get it to adjust properly, and it's very solid feeling.

The NEEWER Metal Phone Tripod Mount (SP-02) is fantastic in many ways. It’s well designed, and easy and comfortable to use. It’s well-built, strong, and durable, yet relatively compact and sleek. My iPhone 16 Pro in its Otter Box fits easily and securely. It’s adjustable through a wide range of positions and can then be secured by tightening a couple knobs that are easy and comfortable to grip. It’s so good that in the past year I’ve bought four of them. It’s not cheap, but given its quality, it’s an excellent buy.

I needed an hot shoe sort of connector to add to the center of my ring light so that I could use my cell phone. This is rather sturdy metal hot shoe that you can use on a camera, tripod and more. The grip wasn't quite wide enough to hold my phone with the Otter Box on my Samsung phone, but that is not a deal breaker. I like the functionality that it provides with the 360 rotation, back and forward motion. I own several other items made by Neewer and I was pleased with them which is why I selected this. A versatile well-made item and a great price point.

Works on manfrotto befree carbon fiber tripod. Holds all of my phones plus 2 attachments, an aux light and a mic. Holds them firm. Good contruction and design.

I used to shoot my personal music videos with an aging camcorder, once it's connection became unsupported by Windows 11, I was forced to use other means. I started using my Galaxy S23 Ultra. This holder attached to my camera tripod easily and holds my phone perfectly. It's not made of plastic, which is great. As long as the spring mechanism holds up, I don't foresee any issues with it.

I was scrolling through various products looking for a gadget to hold my cell phone above my DSLR. When I saw the brand "Neewer" I bought it. I have to trust this brand, and I was not disappointed. All metal construction. I have a Samsung S23 in an Otterbox case. This is probably as big as you will want to go. I have a hard time getting this phone/case combination into this mount. I may remove one of the rubber bumpers to get a bit more clearance. The Otterbox case has plenty of padding.

It actually holds my phone. This was my 3rd holder I tried with Samsung Galaxy s25 ultra and otterbox case. the others said they would fit measurement wise but none actually did untill this one.

Too many knobs for adjistment. I have this tripod mount and the one from their main competitor (starts with "U"). The U version has just about the same range of motion and adjustments while using just one knob. The U version also has a more solid feel to the part that holds the phone. This clamp is way over engineered. The one upside is it can actually be balanced to him the phone without a tripod.
