Shelf Stable Small Canned Powdered Eggs
I like the smaller cans on some food items that have a shorter life spam of at least 10 years due to easier to use faster when you get closer to max date. Also smaller cans are easier to travel with and do not need to worry about pest while in storage or camping while sealed. And smaller cans on some items are more cost effective if on a budget income but would still like a variety of food options in an emergency. Plus, powdered eggs are great as a protein source and can be added to many other food items yet still not as good as fresh eggs, but what fresh eggs are going to last 10 years at shelf stable temperatures for when power goes out for awhile and requires no chicken feed!

NOT BAD AT ALL
OK, lets us say first off, that powered eggs when cooked in a pan just will never taste 100% like real raw eggs. But with that said, they can tasted about 85% like raw eggs if you cook them right. First off, they tell you to mix one tablespoon of dry eggs with two tablespoons of water, by the way, cold water works best, I find that if you add one teaspoon more to each tablespoon of dry eggs, it works much better. Put a tablespoon of butter in the pan, and put it on low heat, on an electric stove that would be between 4 and 5. By the way, the secret of cooking great scrambled eggs is to cook them on low heat. but when you mix the batter, make sure you mix it very, very, well. that is where a lot of people do it wrong, they do not mix it well enough. Then, after you have it mixed well, let it sit for about 5 min. That gives it time to set up. Then pour the mix into the pan, and salt and pepper it. Then slowly take you spatula and working from the outside of the pan, push the egg toward the center, keep this up till the mixture is all cooked. Now you will still have some water left over , so when it is time to take the eggs out, tilt the pan to one side, and let the water run off, then scoop the eggs out and onto you plate. I find that adding any type of vegetables to the mix, as you are cooking it is a bad idea, as all vegetables loose water as they cook and that waters down the eggs. Saute you vegetables in another pan and then add them to your eggs when it is time to eat. Just wanted to update this review, I like to use three eggs when I make any egg dish, omelet, scrambled, or fried. I have found that if I make up the powdered eggs, for two eggs, and then let it set up for a few minutes, and then add one real raw egg to the mix and mix it up well. The whole thing taste 100% like it was all real eggs. Of course this only works with an omelet or scrambled eggs.

Arrived on time
I can't comment on the product because I bought it to put back for leaner times. I can only say that it arrived in a timely manner and hope when I do have to open it it will be as advertised.

Canned powdered eggs
I am a vegetarian, so don't eat eggs unless they are in a baked product. Keep this product on hand in my refrigerator at all times. I do bake a lot and it works wonderful for all baking needs and is easy to use.
