I slipped my C5 disc doing CrossFit six years ago. If you’re reading this and you’ve experienced a cervical disc injury, you know how painful it can be. For the last six years, I’ve lived with near-constant pain — shooting pain from my neck up into my head, down my arm, and numbness in my arm. I’ve tried multiple pillows over the years and never found one that truly helped or gave me consistent relief. About six weeks ago, I slept wrong and had a major flare-up. It was almost as painful as the original injury. That’s when I decided it was time to try something different. I did rest more and limited exercise to walking during the flare-up, but I genuinely credit most of my recovery to this pillow. For reference, I am 5’11”, 185 lbs, with broad shoulders. Pillow height and firmness matter a lot for me. I am a side sleeper, and this pillow supports my neck perfectly. It keeps my spine aligned and fills the space between my shoulder and the mattress exactly the way it should. I have never had a pillow support my neck like this one. The foam is firm but still soft and comfortable. The contour design cradles your head without feeling suffocating. The edges allow space for your hands and even provide light wrist support. It truly feels engineered for comfort. It also stays cool throughout the night — I have not once woken up feeling overheated. I’ve even started sleeping on my back more because it feels so natural and supported. I sleep through the night now instead of constantly adjusting pillows to get the height right. Before this pillow, I would wake up in intense pain. Now, after six weeks, I wake up nearly pain-free. I can turn my neck comfortably. I’ve started light jogging and weights again. My neck genuinely feels like it is healing. I also want to mention the vendor support, which was outstanding. When I first opened the pillow, I thought it might not be tall enough. The instructions mentioned that if you needed additional height, you could request an insert. I emailed the company at 10:00 pm on a Sunday. They responded within 30 minutes, asked for my invoice and address, and sent the insert at no charge. The insert added about an inch of height — and that inch made all the difference. Installation was simple. I even included a photo comparing it to my old pillow. The extra height completely transformed the support. This pillow was not expensive, especially considering the relief it has provided and the quality of sleep I’m now getting. After years of pain, I had accepted that I might just have to live with it. I’ve seen too many people have poor outcomes from surgery and didn’t want to go that route. This pillow has given me hope that my pain can significantly improve — maybe even resolve. Still using! Initially it was a little hard to get used to since I slept on super soft pillows and this is more firm but after a few days, it was great! I like that I can sleep on my back and the pillow is comfortable and inevitably, I turn on one side or the other when sleeping and this pillow is very comfortable and allows for my sleep positions while keeping my neck aligned with my spine so no neck pain! I love the outside edge of the pillow on each side as it’s perfect to rest my arm or hand. As a stomach sleeper most of my life, this pillow helps to “remind” me to sleep on my back or side. I have used it when sleeping on my stomach because it’s soft enough but, I bought this to help me sleep on my back and reduce/eliminate painful sleeping positions.

It was very comfortable at first and then after a few months not as comfortable but I think it has to do my neck issues that have flared up. When I was using it at first it was amazing. No neck pain! I have a cervical fusion so this was such a relief. I like that you can adjust it to your needed height. All in all I think it’s a unique pillow and can offer much relief from neck pain and help one get a good night sleep.

We have tried several different style popular($$$) pillows and nothing helped my husband's arm from going numb several times during the night. He is a side sleeper and the pillows were not providing enough support. This pillow is supportive, but soft enough to be comfortable for your head and neck. It is just the right height and shape to keep your head from pinching your shoulder nerve! The cooling feature is a nice bonus since other foam pillows become hot during the night. I have this same pillow for pain relief in my head and neck. If you are waking up with pain during the night or after a full night, try this pillow. You won't regret it.

Very ergonomic. I use it every night and it has helped with consistent neck and back pain. I find this pillow kind of flat on its own. Especially on my back, I need a second flat-ish pillow underneath to get the most comfortable position. I know the manufacturers will send you an additional foam insert (I believe for free), but I have not contacted them. Quality purchase and quality customer service.

I bought this pillow to compare with the one I had bought a week earlier so I could compare them. I am a side sleeper and really don't sleep well because of chronic pain in my back and shoulder. This pillow is labeled as Ultra Pain Relief and the other one was listed as a Cervical Neck Pillow with Memory Foam. I have been sleeping on them and love them both. They have good neck and head support. A place to put your arms so your arm doesn't fall asleep. I am sleeping longer and waking refreshed and the best part is that my neck, back, and shoulders aren't in terrible pain to start my day. If I had to choose which pillow to send back, I wouldn't be able to chose one over the other. Needless to say, I am not sending one back! I am sleeping 6 - 9 hours each night and only gettng up to use the bathroom and right back to bed. I am not tossing and turning to get comfortable and it doesn't take me long to get to sleep. The quality of my sleep is getting better with each day. I ordered a couple of pillow protectors to put on them as I really don't want to wrestle the pillows to get the cover they came with on or off to wash them. (Don't put the memory foam in the washer or dryer) My cats have put their stamp of approval on them, as I sometimes have to physically move them when I am going to bed or wake up earlier than usual with them trying to share the pillow with me. I would be hard pressed to make a decision to send one of them back, so I am keeping both of them!

Good product. The pillow is very comfortable and allows your head to gently lay onto it. Very good support, helps with neck pain and allows you to rest easily.

This pillow is amazing. Don’t let the looks fool you. I had been using a cooling pillow that I thought was very comfortable. Especially when I first went to bed, but after a while, I started waking up with a stiff neck and shoulders. It continued to get worse and worse. I started noticing that by morning my pillow had become flat. I saw this weird looking pillow online and decided to give it a try. The first night it was weird because it was so different. It is firm because it is made of memory foam. Your head fits right into this little “cradle”. It works on your back or side. Your neck is in alignment. I sleep so good! No more tossing and turning. No more neck and shoulder pain. I am so glad I took a chance on this pillow!! I highly recommend this weird looking pillow!

It was too high for me and, unlike identical ones or copies for a little over $30 on Temu, there is no way to remove a layer to adjust the height. Also, no fitted pillow casies? It's not that nice next to your face. Mine has gone to the bin.
