I couldn’t wait to open this package to see if the product would work on my gong or not.. And sure enough, it displayed beautiful sound. Very impressed! Great product!

Although it’s expensive to bring all the way to South Africa and it cannot be found in our country, the product is of good quality and works well.

A little tricky to use but the gong does sound similar to a whale

These are awesome. Exactly what I was looking for.

I attempted to use those friction mallets on my gong and the did not work. My gong has a matted finish instead of a gloss finish and I believe this was the reason. I should have checked prior to purchasing, as now it is too late to return.

these work fine, but the wire handles are hard on the hands

I’ve used these types of friction mallets before, and was excited to have them for my newly acquired 24” dark star from gongs unlimited. They are slick for some reason, not sure if it was just my set or the material they use and how it breaks down. Disappointing, but the return seems to be going smoothly.

Excelente calidad y precio. Tenía muchas ganas de probar este mallet de fricción para imitar el sonido de las ballenas con mi gong. Me aventuré a comprarlo a pesar de que dice que es para gongs grandes a partir de 24" yo lo usé en uno de viento de 18" y funciona bien. Se necesita practicar y practicar, al intentar sonarlo por primera vez no salió ningún sonido, ya después fui agarrando la técnica y salió el sonido. Lo recomiendo.
