These little cars are very engaging for a toddler
These cars are so cute and they hold up to a toddler extremely well. Our 16-month-old grandson loves them and presses their windshields over and over again so that there is constant sound coming from them. Might drive his parents a little crazy but we're tickled pink that we found a Christmas gift for him that he enjoys so much.

Fun Push-Along Play for Early Ages. Good Quality Vehicles with Lights, Sounds, Melodies, and Songs
This review is for the VTECH Go! Go! Smart Wheels Roadway Heroes 3-Pack. I received a free taxable sample of this pack to review in my search for fun toddler toys. The pack arrived in a nicely branded and decorated open display box that allows all three cars to be seen and interacted with. The box had various marketing highlights and I like that the cars were each secured to the box by only two plastic screws on the base that could easily be removed. The pack can be gifted as is within a gift bag with tissue paper and with a gift tag attached. There are three cars with this Roadway Heroes pack: Revved Up Race Car; Helpful Police Car; and Tow Truck. The Tow Truck looks like it's only sold as part of this pack, whereas the Race Car and Police Car appear to be available for individual purchase. The Race Car with batteries weighs 105 grams and measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2" x 2". The Police Car weighs 116 grams and measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2" x 2 1/4". The Tow Truck is the largest of the vehicles and weighs 131 grams and measures (tow trailer up) 3 1/2" x 2" x 3". All of the vehicles have a transparent yellow plastic windshield with cartoon faces that can be pushed to light up the windshield and activate one of many phrases, melodies, or songs that will play through the speaker holes in the rear of each vehicle's cab. The bottom of each vehicle is where the screw-protected battery cover (2 AAA batteries), physical on/off switch, and eight horizontally aligned plastic fins (for the playset Smartpoints) are located. The tires are non-rubberized thin plastic wheels which roll okay but have no mechanized action and are designed to be pushed along and guided by tiny hands. Each vehicle also has a special moveable plastic part (hoods for the police car and race car, the tow trailer for the tow truck) that seems to trigger more of sayings rather than songs or melodies. These moveable parts appear to be the weakest points of the vehicles and have the most potential to break off down the line. Outside of the moveable parts, the vehicles have a good solid overall weight and feel to them. They were a good fit for my toddler's hands, and he had no problems interacting with them and pushing them around the mixed flooring (carpet and wood floors) of the house. The tow truck and the race car are the most colorful and sport a nice mix of colors and well-painted crisp graphics, especially the race car with its flaming motif. The vehicles and their designs have held up as expected with a little wearing across the designs. Me and my toddler were pleasantly surprised to find out that you don't have to purchase any of the playsets to activate a wide range of phrases, melodies, and songs. According to the product literature, there are 12 songs and 18 melodies, although I'm not sure if this is across all three cars or for each car. Pushing down on the front windshield seems to randomly cycle through a huge variety of sounds and once activated, a medium amount of motion or vibration will also trigger a variety of electronic sounds. Side notes about the related playset and vehicle ecosystem: as of this writing it looks like there are 15+ playsets and multiple vehicles available including a line of eco-friendly Earth Buddies. All in all, these Roadway Heroes vehicles are solidly constructed, and my toddler enjoyed playing with them at home and on-the-go even without the playsets. I would recommend this set as a great option for fun toddler toys with lights and sounds.

Fun!
Durable! Fun! You can take these anywhere. Great addition to the fire stations, town, ect. Fun for all ages. 2, 4, 6 years play with these. They hold up nicely and aren't too loud. I love the on off switch on each car.

Hours of Play
My son (almost 2) has loved playing with these for the last couple months. He has enjoyed hours of play. They each play songs and have multiple phrases. He can turn them on and off himself with the switch on the bottom of the cars. Overall, these have provided hours of entertainment.
