Have bought the original version of these talcs before and absolutely loved them. These did not disappoint either. Left my skin feeling very cool, fresh and comfortable, with a lovely smell of lavender and rosemary. I find it great for us ladies too, as an all year round preventative measure for nasty under-boob heat rash and soreness. In summer I enjoy pairing with Snake Brand’s cooling shower gel. You get a nice big load for the price and it’s the best, in my opinion, to keep the misery of hot, humid conditions from wreaking havoc on your skin. I will point out that even though it’s VERY COOLING I’ve had no irritation or allergic reaction; despite it being real talcum powder with real essential oils and no hint of that awful corn starch. I can’t recommend this brand highly enough to keep you cool and comfortable even in the hottest of environments. I’m looking forward to trying out their cooling body wipes and lavender scented shower gel which they say is coming soon! 👍🏻

Finally, real talc, and not the gravy-thickener cornstarch which is passed off as body powder. OK, this leaves you smelling like chest-rub ointment for colds, but it works. Not an awful lot in a tin, but a soothing relief for people who need it.

I suffered quite badly with prickly heat last year and wanted to be prepared this year so I did my research and came across this product. It is fantastic! I also suffer from eczema so very sensitive and double the itch. It cools your skin with an almost menthol feeling and has really helped me in both humid and dry heat. I've only used the original powder so far, so I can't comment on the lavender one.

1st time Tring this as alternative to baby power in summer for chafing keeping dry. Fantastic it's a super fine powder with lovely first note of lavender that then goes on to a mentol cool smell... power feels cool on body and keep me dry most of the day. These are manufactured in Thailand, where, I suppose prickly heat might be a problem. When I first used the Lavender one, I felt as if my scrotum had been mentholated. I checked to see if there was any menthol in the ingredients, but these are oils of rosemary, eucalyptus, geranium and lavender. Subsequent applications have not reproduced this result. The Original tin was unopenable. I tried a coin to twist it open - this did not work. I eventually prized it off with a screwdriver, but the thing with the holes in was stuck to the top of the lid. This is clearly a manufacturing problem.

I've used the original snake brand for years now. It works so well if you're prone to heat/sweat rash like I am in my cleavage. You get a lovely menthol, cooking tingle. It works better than sudocrem on my rash. I haven't tried the lavender version yet, but I have every faith that it will help me during the hot flushes and heatwaves.
