I've been using MECOOL products for years now. Very solid android boxes, nice and responsive. 5 star for overall stream quality 4 star voice recognition due to once in a blue moon not taking mic input (but this also happens on my Nvidia Shield Pro so that's just an android TV thing) 4 star for UI. Only a 4 because when Android TV gets an update, its more ads. (If you want a clean home screen with no ads, uninstall the update for System app - Android TV Home, and prevent it from auto-updating in the Play Store)

I purchased the first box 2yrs ago after my $180 Invidia shield box crapped out. Then my second Invidia shield crapped out so I bought a second one. I have had 0 issues with these tv boxes. They run fast easy to navigate. Highly recommend.

Excelente tv box, despues de tenerlo por unos 9 meses funciona sin problema, interfaz de usuario fluida, buena resolución, cumple mis necesidades.

Very frustrated by the lack of features on the competitors, like no SPDIF out, no1G ethernet connection and many more missing - this little box has them all! It is Google based, and does a superb job of streaming ALL the major video players, and that in itself is worth a lot. Horrible problems with Paramount and others on Chromecast and Firestick, due to bad apps - since this little box pulls from Google play you get the latest apps and they ALL FUNCTION. More importantly, you can change the interface GUI to what you WANT. All legally and easily! FAIL - After 3 months. Paramount and Apple stopped working, their tech support could not fix, returned for refund

This product was easy to set up. And is great for my family. My kids can use it and it is convenient for our home. There is a little hiccup with Google right now in not allowing many Android boxes to link/sync to be the volume and power button so hopefully that gets fixed soon. Other than that it's great.

El control remoto no permite controlar el televisor, por lo tanto es necesario usar dos controles remoto, lo que no es muy práctico. por otro lado no se pueden descargar las aplicaciones de google. estoy medio decepcionado

Got 8 months out of it bought in March. Now October box crapped out on me last night
