Skelang 2 Pcs Cane Bolt, 18" Heavy Duty Gate Drop Rod, Steel Gate Ground Latch for Holding Wooden Gate Open and Shut

Ordered and installed these on our gates a year ago and I'm surprised I can still add a review. Had no problem with them at the time, and over the past year with heavy metal gates and wind, they are holding up well. A little tricky to get the arm to raise and lower because of the "nubs" in the center, but can recommend them for sturdiness.

Its great but some screws got broken by its head while screwing them in a wood.

Heavy duty. But, the holes in the guides are too large in my opinion. They of course allow the rod to pass through but they are a sloppy fit. They do work and the price I paid gave a good value so I still recommend on price, not build.

These worked great much better length than the original ones.

The bolts were installed on the gates of a new commercial trash enclosure. The brackets were easy to install and so far the bolts have held up well with no bending.

Price was good. Finish on the pieces looks fine for now, will have to see how the finish weathers over time. Screws are absolute junk and were tossed out. Must be cast cheap metal, not cut rolled thread from correct metal. Sheared off 3 out of first 4 and have broken screws stuck in the gate frame. Even sheared one just using a screwdriver. Had to get real screws to finish installation.

Easy to install and works great at a good price.
