This has definitely made a difference in my fan light. I had the old fluorescent bulb that was always inefficient, this was a super easy conversion to superior lighting. Included 2 LEDs so I’m looking for a second option now

Changed out led on a light fixture to give it new life. Brighter than original and was nice picking the color. Saved on having to buy a new expensive light fixture.

I bought these to replace the 100w halogen lamps that were in two of our ceiling fans. They are an inexpensive, easy way to upgrade the look of the fans, as well as to match the rest of the lighting in our home, which is now, all LED. Installation was simple and straightforward. Due to the particular design of our fans, I made a few modifications to the light fixture so that these would fit properly. The magnets that are attached to these lights are a nice touch. While the magnets are strong, and would likely be sufficient to hold the lamp in place. I chose to screw the lights to the metal housing of the fixture, itself. These lights are much brighter than the old halogen lamps, operate at a MUCH lower temperature and use far less electricity. Their lifespan should be much, much longer, too. They also dim flawlessly with the fan’s remote control. The selectable color temperature gives you three different options, however our color choice is 5000K which matches the rest of our home’s lighting. I highly recommend these replacement LEDs! 😄

The amount of lumens depends on the color temperature you select! The description is inaccurate and this needs to be disclosed as the amount of lumens is an important factor when choosing lights and bulbs. According to the seller: "3000K the light is about 2200LM; 4000K about 3200LM; 5000K about 3000LM" Otherwise seems good, just disappointed that 3000K (best color temperature for homes in my opinion) is only 2200LM versus 3200LM. Will be installing soon, looks very straight forward and if it works well with enough lumens I will order a bunch more. I would have given it 5 stars had the lumens been 3200LM. UPDATE: I have installed two of these and so far they work great. They don't get too hot so hopefully the electronics will last the 50,000 hours it is rated at. I just ordered eight more. I am installing these in place of old compact fluorescent bulbs so a little modification of the low profile light fixtures to remove the old electronic ballasts and sockets, pretty straight forward. UPDATE 2: I have installed 9 of these and they have been performing great. Instant on and nice dimming too. I may end up installing 6 more in my ceiling fans when I have the time. Can be installed in numerous types of flight fixtures too. UPDATE 3: Still performing great. For my 6 ceiling fans I decided to try out GE Ultra Bright LED bulbs instead of modifying my ceiling fan lights. If that doesn't work out in the long run I will take the time to install this product instead.

Great light kit. It fit right into my celling fans light bulb holder to replace it. Magnetic attachment as well as screws if desired. I liked that its dimmable and the little button changes the light colors from warm white to daylight

I bought this LED Ceiling Fan Light Attachment because my old fan had the lighting capabilities of a single, depressed candle. My living room was so dim I was basically living in a Victorian novel. I installed this, flipped the switch, and I’m pretty sure I accidentally alerted the International Space Station to my exact coordinates. The "Blinding" Truth: From "Gloom" to "Supernova": I went from living in a cave to living inside a flashbulb. When I first turned it on, I actually saw my life flash before my eyes. I didn't realize how much dust was on my baseboards until this thing illuminated them with the surgical precision of a hospital operating room. The "Weight Watchers" Test: My old light kit was a heavy, glass-and-brass monstrosity that made the fan wobble like a washing machine with a brick in it. This LED attachment is so light the fan actually seems relieved. No more "clunk-clunk-clunk" while I’m trying to sleep. The "Installation Ego": The instructions said "easy install," which usually means "call an electrician and cry." But this was actually simple! I tucked the wires in, snapped it on, and felt like Nikola Tesla for a solid twenty minutes. I even stayed on the ladder a little longer just to look down at my kingdom. Energy Efficiency (Allegedly): It says it saves money on electricity, which is great, because I’m going to need that extra cash to buy sunglasses for everyone who enters my house. The Verdict: Is it bright? Yes. It’s "interrogation room" bright. It’s "I can see my neighbors' thoughts" bright. But the color temperature is actually great, and it makes the whole room feel ten years younger. Warning: Do not look directly into the light when you flip the switch for the first time. You will see purple spots for the next three business days. Bottom Line: If you’re tired of living in the shadows and want a fan light that doubles as a lighthouse for lost sailors, this is your winner. Five stars—I can finally see where I’m going, and so can the aliens!

Not as bright as I hoped it would be. Even on the highest setting it still is not very bright. It should only be used in a small room because of the brightness.

I bought these lights (pack of 2 because I'm tired of getting burned on Amazon products, though I only needed 1) ,to help my grandmother because this light was the primary light in her living room and her eyesight is falling unfortunately and the extra plug in lights(standing) don't help her vs. a above head light.... original LED fan light was so small its almost comical (look at photos/ real life, did this personally it was so small). unfortunately I did have to cut a bit of extra wire and take off the plastic cover so it would fit under the glass bowl but it was easy(sorry I didn't take photos after, on account of my grandmother smothering me... with love🙂). (took me 30 minutes, But I have installed many ceilings fans and lights over the years...). Can't tell you the durability for long term use after one day but looks like a quality product, but I can say their customer service reached out to me days before I received their product and gave me a phone number if I ever had a problem with instillation(never needed it but I like this customer service) ...unless these lights burn out ever 6 months (not likely), then im a very happy customer and so is my grandmother since this is my Christmas gift to her ❤. sorry for grammatical errors lol 😆 its 2024 now and had a couple drinks God bless.

Great product. Arrived quickly in solid packaging. Has ULC certification. I used the lights to replace the existing incandescent lights on a couple of ceiling fans. I had to adjust the screw position on one of the units as they did not line up perfectly but taking care not to damage any of the circuitry on the retrofit kit. I also replaced a halogen pendant light with the LED kit. The installation is not that difficult if you have some rudimentary electrical skills. The lights are now some much brighter than what was pre-existing. I agree with other reviewers that you need to use dimmer switches with these lights. No downsides that I can identify. Purchased over a year ago and they are still working perfectly.

Worked in my older Hunter fan. Easy install.

They are dimmable which gives us just the right lighting, the retrofit kit is easy to install in the the ceiling and we're able to use our own light coverings over them which we already had, saved us going out and buying a whole new light fixture, very pleased with them.

I needed a replacement bulb for my Hunter fan light and this was the closest thing I could find. Only one of the screws lines up and I had to snip off the connectors from the fan wires so that I could use the provided wire nuts instead. So a bit of work to install, about half hour but once it was done I am very happy with it. Much brighter than the original light and the 4000k makes the room look great!

The old bulb was one of those 100w halogen tubes (R7S) and was never really bright for our needs. Tried some LED versions but they too were never bright enough to light up the room. This one seems to do the trick. I like that it covers most 3 different light colours. I had to make some adjustments to the centre to allow for the wiring to work, but overall this is exactly what we were looking for.
