Marinading chicken is a breeze. Awesome speed and improved marinading.
Home chefs know how marinading chicken is difficult, unless you plan ahead. Vacuum marinading is the best way to speed and improve the marinade process. Save time and get improved results. Commercial vacuum marinade units also tumble the meat, so you should be sure to rotate the marinade a few times, with this unit. Check the price for the RED VERSION of this unit. We got ours for under $13, and weโre thrilled. We already had a smaller unit that we use to make pickled carrots, onions, and jalapeรฑos which we put in sandwiches. Try an Italian speidie marinade for chicken, using this unit. Awesome success at your next grilling party. Be the smart host.

I LOVE THIS
This is my second purchase, because I NEED it, I LOVE it. My first one I didn't overpump (read the reviews of overpumping and tops imploding), I always hand washed it, including seal. I had an accident and fell on the top of my old one, cracking it , and there aren't replacements available so I got another one. I could rave about this all day! As long as your meat is not frozen to begin with, 30 minutes is all it takes to give sufficient flavor. I use this with marinades as well as rubs. I was given a marinade book with this and it suggested boiling leftover marinade, then straining it and using it as a drizzle on the meat - heaven!! I am going to buy another so I can do veggies at the same time!

Good for more than just meat
This is designed to speed up the process of mrinating meat. I've used it for that and it works well for it's purpose. I've also used it to store homemade bread to extend it's freshness. Salad keeps very well in a vacuum too. I have two of these and they stack perfectly in the little cupboard over my oven. Don't pump it too much and you will be fine.

Seems to lose it's vacuum quickly
Product looked good and seems simple enough ... continually struggle to get a tight proper seal marrying up the lid to body ... and when I do manage to align everything perfectly, the seal does not appear to last but more than an hour ...

Does what it says.
This works exactly as it says. Truly marinated within 20 minutes to a half hour. Perfect for anyone that doesnt decide to cook until the last minute.

Lid is fragile
I should have paid attention to the reviews i read. This item is not well made. after about 4-5 uses, I used once more, put my meat and marinade in, put it in the refrigerator, and went about my day. About 3 hours later, I heard a loud noise, but couldn't figure out what it was. Then, when i went to get the meat out to start grilling, I noticed that the lid had given out and my marinade was all over my fridge. I will no longer purchase a "vacuum sealer" for marinading ever again. I'll just use my old way of ziploc bags.

It Dosen't Vacume seal very well, so the it doesnt serve the purpose of fast merinating very well
the vacuum seal or pump didn't work on the 1st one (not sure) and the pump didn't work on the 2nd 1. I had another pump and it works with that 1, so I kept it. Seems to serve it's function now.
